Golden Bonds on Pasio Story Event returns to Pokémon Masters EX until November 22nd

Pokémon Masters EX today sees the return of 2024's Golden Bonds on Pasio Story Event, which will run through until November 22nd at 9:59pm (PDT).

In this returning story event, which originally ran between September 17th and October 1st, 2024, as part of the game's 5 year anniversary celebrations, Lear sets his sights on collecting a thousand photos demonstrating bonds between Sync Pairs.

This event follows the simplified format for Story Events, where players will collect Event Points as they complete battles, earning rewards based on the total amount of event points acquired instead of trading for specific desired rewards. Players will need to collect a total of 10,000 Event Points for this event in order to receive all possible rewards. Featured event rewards include5★ Scout Tickets, Skill Items, a Tech Move Candy Coin, 5★ Power-Ups, and Event Medals. Other rewards able to be obtained include Special Skill Feather 50, custom Sync Orbs for Sygna Suit Lear & Gholdengo, and Lucky Cookies for Sygna Suit Lear & Gholdengo, Sawyer & Honchkrow, and Rachel & Umbreon. Players will be able to obtain all of these rewards even if they have previously completed the event during its original run.

As usual for events of this type, players will have an increased chance of receiving bonus rewards if they take on event battles using teams that feature specific sync pairs. The more of these sync pairs that players place in their lineup, the greater the bonus received. The applicable Sync Pairs and reward rates are as follows:

• Sygna Suit Lear & Gholdengo: +60% (×1.6) bonus rewards
• Rachel & Gimmighoul, Sawyer & Gimmighoul: +40% (×1.4) bonus rewards
• All other sync pairs with the Pasio Theme Skill: +20% (×1.2) bonus rewards
• All other Ghost- and Steel-type Sync Pairs

These bonuses stack additively, so having a team consisting of Sygna Suit Lear & Gholdengo, Rachel & Gimmighoul, and Sawyer & Gimmighoul would grant a combined +140% (×2.4) rewards.

Players should also note the following when playing this event:

• The number of plays available for Daily Extreme Battle 1 are reset every day at 10:00pm (PST).
• To participate, players must have completed Main Story Chapter 1: The More the Merrier (Normal) in single-player.
• The sync pairs that appear as opponents in battle have different capabilities than those players can actually obtain.
• All mission completion rewards must be claimed within three days of the mission period ending.
• All Event Points collected during this event will be automatically deleted once the event is over.
