Sinnoh's best chef is no longer deemed responsible enough to have his own cooking show. Hovever it receives the highest ratings of it's time slot every week without fail. Gavin Ackhart (Sinnoh's former best chef) found a loophole in his contract though. It requires him to have a show for the next five years-but not to be on it.
That is where you and Golden Chef come in. Golden Chef is a new reality show aimed to find a successor to Gavin Ackhart. They would host "Wake Up And Smell The Sinnoh" and would be propelled to instant stardom. You, with the help of your partner Pokémon will have to complete cooking challenges and outbake your competition so you can be-The Golden Chef.
You sign up, unsure of whether you will get in and the details are sketchy but hey-with a little luck and hard work you will be the next Gavin Ackhart.

RULES:
1. Please try to use proper grammar. One sentence posts are not recommended.
2. No godmodding. Your character should have some cooking experience but like "owns 10 5 star restaurants".
3. There will be an announcer who announces when the show starts, ends and goes to commercial break. they will always type in italics and you cannot communicate with them.

Here is my sign up. Please follow this format. Also-Pale Bones is also in charge so whatever he says goes. ^_^

Name: Gavin Ackhart
Age: 27
Appearance: Short blond hair with dark roots showing. He is 5'11 and very slim at 140 pounds. Gavin has an eyebrow piercing and green eyes. Lately his eyes tend to be bloodshot and have purple bags under them. Because of this, lately he has been wearing large dark sunglasses. Usually sporting a crisp white button up chef shirt and striped dark dress pants even outside of work. Gavin wears black high-tops for comfort because he is on his feet all day.
Personality: An impulsive, narcissistic, charming megalomaniac with an addictive personality. People seem to love him even though he cares little about others. In Gavin's life there is no inbetween-only extremes. He is known for his catchphrase "That's golden!"
History: When he was 18 he had his own cooking show and was an instant success and an instant favorite of teenybopper magazines. His show "Wake Up And Smell The Sinnoh" was always very popular until he turned 26. Then everything went downhill. In one year he went from Sinnoh's golden boy to Sinnoh's wild child tabloid target. When his confident personality cracks he is often found in a bar, late at night drinking away his troubles. Because of his hard partying lifestyle he has been forced to give up his show.

Name: Claire Peterson
Age: 19
Appearance: She has long blond hair that is almost always tied up in a ponytail. She has light blue eyes and a kind face. She always tries to wear big round earrings and only takes them out to fight or to sleep. She also has a small nose piercing. She almost always wears sandles and blue shirts along with either black jeans or blue skirts.

Personality: She seems nice to people, but she tries to put people down as it calms her. She is mean at heart, but she is nice if you talk about the things she likes; namely cooking. her favorite word is "Whatever."

History: Living in a single apartment with her father and 3 younger siblings, she was always the one to do all of the work, cleaning, cooking, ironing and everything else. This is why she is very mean to others. She has always wanted to be a cook, but her father never let her have the chance to have many cooking classes. At eighteen, she left her family and cooked at various restaurants, normally getting fired for fighting with the other cooks. She wants to have a good job, and that's why she signed up for the show.

Name: Aaron "Delicious" Knight

Age: 24

Appearance: Long legnth brown hair with blonde highlights. He is 5'7" and skinny weighing in at 113 pounds. Icy blue eyes not as dark as sapphire but not as light as aquamarine. He usually dresses casual for all occasions even when cooking but wears a pristine white apron.

Personality: A bright cheerful show who is always confident, except before a big event, but the pressure generally makes everything turn out perfect!

History: Brother to acclaimed Aiedail Knight, who past would remain mysteryious to everyone except his closest friends. He often would travel around the Pokemon World with his sister to retrieve exotic fruits, berries, vegetables, and herbs.

Partner Pokémon: Kirlia and Gardevoir (Can we have two? -puppy dog eyes-)

Cooking Style: Desserts, Breads, and just about anything else!

Accepted but the two Pokémon thing could be a problem.
You could keep one as a non-kitchen Pokémon but only one can help you cook just to keep it fair.

EDIT: Can they be interchangable? As in: Use Gardevoir on one, and Kirlia on another?

Yes they can be but remember: they will not be as experienced if they are interchangable because they don't spend all of the time in the kitchen.
And also, make sure you character isn't too perfect. Try to add some weaknesses.
 
Name: Daniel Ryder

Age: 19

Appearance: Daniel has shaggy copper hair that hangs down around his ears, with a lock of hair always falling accross his face (from the right side to the left) no matter how much he pulls it back. He has deep violet eyes, which are wide and childlike, set in an honest-looking face. He's of an average height, 5'5" or somewhere thereabouts, but has a very slim, lean figure. Usually, he wears a white collared shirt, dark jeans, and black Converse.

Personality: Daniel is very quiet, and does not readily engage in conversation. This is not because he's shy -- he just doesn't say anything if he doesn't feel there's anything to say. When he does talk, he usually employs a very dry, sarcastic sense of humor. He doesn't like to rock the boat, and prefers to concentrate on his cooking, but is always willing to listen to other people's problems and try to help, though his help is always accompanied by a sarcastic comment or two. Sometimes, however, his blunt demeanor can be refreshing.

History: Daniel was born in Veilstone City, Sinnoh, and has worked alongside his father in the Seven Stars restaurant since his early teens. His father, a decent chef in his own right, has taught Daniel everything he knows, and Daniel's skills eventually impressed the head chef of the Seven Stars. Though still developing his skills, the head chef and Daniel's father are convinced that Daniel will go far, and see this audition as the perfect way for him to do it.

Partner Pokémon: Bayleef

Cooking Style: Areomatic, herbal dishes, especially pastas
 
Name: Sam Grador
Age: 22
Appearance: Sam usually wears a green shirt with a muffin on it, which is replaced by a plain black shirt when cooking. He always wears blue jeans, despite the fact that they're worn out and need to be replaced. He has plain black and white shoes.
Personality: Sam is usually smiling, and likes to talk. He likes when people ask him to cook, and doesn't try to be in the spotlight unless somebody ask him too. A way he thinks is "whatever makes people happy."
History: Sam lived in a regular house and grew up being told what he was going to do when he grew up: be a software technician. He wasn't good with computers and didn't really like them anyway. He chose cooking as a class in summer for people when he could. He never went professional, but enjoyed it as a pastime, kinda.
Partner Pokémon: Charmander
Cooking Style: cool (Temperature), and somtimes sweet things
 
Name: Saul (Cinder) Crimson
Age: 21
Appearance: Saul stands about 5'7" and has medium-length jet black hair that often covers his light, hazel eyes. He feels that, personally, wearing a kitchen apron is degrading, and although most contests require the kitchen attire, he still cooks in a full blown tuxedo, having much to do with his love for showmanship, despite the dangers of ruining his expensive getup in the kitchen.
Personality: Being a natural born showman and lover of the spotlight, Saul puts more effort into his performance and the aesthetics of his dishes rather than the actual taste, and this continues to be his main weakness. However, Saul will do anything to please the customer, even happily cooking things that he would never consider eating in his entire life; as long as he can please the diner, he'll gladly make the sacrifice.

He's considerably self-absorbed, especially in the kitchen, and he puts on a grand act while he's making even the most simple of dishes. He often makes fire and spice related puns and loves to talk to the camera (as he's been featured on several day-time cooking shows), and his Typhlosion, aptly named Cinnamon, who he never enters the kitchen without.

Though he loves to please the customer, his biggest concern is pleasing his Pokémon partner, who will happily eat just about everything, and the other Pokémon who he cooks for, likely a result of his bizarre beginning in the culinary world. If the Pokémon don't like his food, he won't cook the dish again until he's completely sure that he has improved upon it ten-fold.
History: Growing up in Sinnoh, Saul was a young, inexperienced teenager, always looking for a way to make easy money. One summer when he was 16, he needed enough money to fly out to Hoenn with his friends. So, he applied for a brief stint as a Pokémon food chef, working at a local bakery that specialized in Pokémon food. His first task was to create a tricky three-berry poffin, and he worked long and hard perfecting his recipe and getting every aspect of the item perfect. When he finally tried the poffin on Cinnamon, the then-Quilava was amazed by her trainer's culinary skills, and their partnership in the kitchen was formed. The success of his recipe launched him into both widespread local popularity and a love for cooking, and he decided to dedicate his life to being the greatest chef Sinnoh has ever seen, and he was eventually brought to the international spotlight, making appearances on many popular cooking shows as a guest.

Around his friends and family, who he enjoyed cooking for the most, next to his Pokémon, he was given the nickname "Cinder" for his unbelievably spicy cinnamon dishes and his affinity for any and all spices.

Saul's second favorite dishes to make are deserts, simply because of the fact that Cinnamon prefers the spicy dishes, while he has a monster sweet tooth.

Cooking Style: Hot and Spicy as well as smooth and sweet.

Name: Madame Sylvie
Age: 21
Appearance: She has red sholder-long hair. She often wears her lucky pearl necktie with her red apron around her waist. She also wears pink gloves up to her elbows. She usually wears a violet dress too.
Personality: Her idol chef is Racheal Ray and wants a show just like he. She is very ambitious but is kind of a clutz. When she is bored she daydreams alot and can sometimes make fummy patterns in her food which can help her be very creative.
History: Sylvie originally came from France and frequently speaks it. Her main catchphrase it "Parfait!" which means perfect. She loves to be the outcast when making food so she usually has the best designs. She just finished a culinary college with top honors. But she got her big break when her idol told her to audition for Gavin's show and made it.
Partner Pokémon: Infernape
Cooking Style: Creative and mainly focuses on less time consuming meals

Just Leafy Leeney one thing-they don't know that they're in yet.
I will be writing the start and include when they say they are in.
