Good grass types...

[The One and Only....]

hey guys I just finished playing HG for the day but ran into a problem. I don;t have a good grass type for my team any help....

My team so far is

Quilava lvl 21

Flaffy lvl 20

Noctowl lvl 21

i plan on using the red gyarados as my water type but i also don't have a 6 pokemon if anyone is willing to make any suggestions...

I've always like Jumpluff and Bellossom, even though they're kind of girly. I used to use a Victreebel in my original Red version back in the day.

Well, you can capture Bellsprouts right outside Violet City. Victreebell make pretty good mixed attackers, but I can't remember how far into the game you need to be to get a LeafStone.

This could have gone in the in-game thread of the RMT subforum.

Regardless, Jumpluff is an excellent Grass type if your aim is to annoy the living hell out of your opponent.

I don't know how soon you have access to it, but Tangela/Tangrowth hits like a truck.

Bellossom and Vileplume are defensive walls that are hard to take down.

Victreebel and Exeggcutor are also top-notch Grass types.

If you don't mind trading, Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko and Turtwig are among the best Grass types EVER. Roselia and Shroomish are also excellent Pokemon you can obtain this way.

A good final team member could be Dratini (Dragon's den) or Larvitar (Safari Zone), both of whom are beasts upon evolution
