Have you ever gotten up one morning and, stumbling around while trying to put on your pants, said to yourself, "Gosh, I think I need an extra extra dose of Pokémon in my day today!"?
Well, that is precisely what I did as of a few hours ago, and, look, I've finally sat down and done something about it! Hello!
I'm new to the Bulbagarden community, but most definitely not to Pokémon. I've been into the games since Ye Olde Generation I (like many of you, I'm sure!) and have followed the franchise faithfully ever since. My favorite generation has simply got to be II, though; I was at just the right age to appreciate the full depth of the Johto region right when it came out, and that's a wonderful coincidence that I'll treasure forever. (I am especially fond of the HGSS remake!)
I am both an artist and a writer, but I admittedly don't contribute much to the fandom. However, I am an avid roleplayer, and my character happens to be the local Pokémon Professor for the group I play with. That said, I do a fair bit of professoring, myself--and by that, I mean seriously overthinking aspects of the world and how it works, and then writing it all down. It's one of my favorite things to do, no doubt, and I've blathered on about everything from the workings of Pokéballs to the origins and purposes of the human race in a universe where they are a minority. It's all just a lot of piffle, really, but darn if it isn't fun!
That's quite enough about me, though! Tell me a bit about yourselves, BMGf, if it suits you, of course. I can't wait to properly meet the lot of you, and the earlier, the better, right?
