In the Japanese version, why do they sometimes add a little english. Always wanted to know.
 
It's called "Engrish," bud. If you watch any anime, they will have certain terms and phrases in "Engrish."
 
Its because there are phrases and words that they cannot create with Japanese, so English is easier, and yes, one might call it "Engurish" unofficially.

The Japanese have alot of english loan words, plus they use english words to sound cool. Although not all the time in some cases.
 
The Chinese tend to use Engrish more often than the Japanese.

It's probably as the above users said, to make it sound cooler "yeah" sounds better than the Japanese and Chinese words for yes, hai and shi, respectively.

And because some words just can't be said with the Asian languages.

It's no different when an english-speaking character uses a phrase from a different language. It has a kind of je ne sais quoi to it.

It may sound stupid to an native english speaker, but it might sound cool to someone who speaks a different language.
 
They use English and "Engrish". It depends on what's being said.

Which is really funny considering that Surge's random language switches was considerably more "Engrish" and he's supposed to be a native speaker.
 
Its easy to expres feelings or so.I like the songs of most animations.They do it in Japanese and part of English.
 
Harley also spoke in english a few times if I remember correctly. But most people don't remember him anymore.

It's not too terribly exciting any longer. Actually, I think the only people who like that stuff are the Japanese.

I like it too.Its like in Digimon Frontier, they've added some Italian.

It's not really the same sort of thing, the Italian in Digimon Frontier isn't random. Izumi lived in Italy for several years, so she was used to speaking Italian every day.
