In the Japanese version, why do they sometimes add a little english. Always wanted to know.

It's called "Engrish," bud. If you watch any anime, they will have certain terms and phrases in "Engrish."

Maybe you missed the joke? Musashi says the original Engrish in an early DP ep (when Gregguru was caught) ;-)"Watashi wa winna desu"?
"[Insert Character Here] speaks a few English phrases/words."
It's not too terribly exciting any longer. Actually, I think the only people who like that stuff are the Japanese.
...which I can't really hold against them. *shrug*
I like it too.Its like in Digimon Frontier, they've added some Italian.
