What if (and only if) every step of the way Ash catches thE FEATURE pOKEMON, what would you feel?
 
The speculation topics would now say..."I BET ASH WON'T CATCH [POTD]"

And then give a long list of reasons why he won't.
 
Oaks lab would need to be bigger. Much bigger. And what about repeated Pokemon? Catch them anyway?

slightly off-topic, but it's not that he doesn't scan (assumedly... we saw him try to scan Mewtwo, at least). It's just that, while he caught more Pokemon than Satoshi, it's been confirmed that he's seen a lot less variations in species than Satoshi has. That said, it could easily be assumed that a majority of his captures are doubles (hell, considering Ookido stated Shigeru had over 200 Pokemon back in generation 1, and Satoshi was barely through getting a glimpse of the first 151+Togepi, it's even easier to come to that conclusion).

I remember that Gary has mentioned he would catch the Pokémon at once he see them before they run away rather than scan them like Ash.He didn't do that is just because he is the grandson of the famous professor.Oak would have already told him about the Pokémon.He scan Mewtwo is just because he didn't know what Mewtwo is!No one know what Mewtwo is except TR at that time, right?And although his Pokémon is mostly doubles, it would still make the lab full of Pokémon......
