Here's where you list what you think are the best sport records !

Obey all Bulbagarden rules

Football: Dan Marino's 50,000+ pass yards in carrer
Baseball: Barry Bonds's 756th HR*
Basketball: Celtic's 16 NBA Finals titles
NASCAR: Richard Petty's 200 carrer wins and Ricky Rudd's 756 consecutive starts
F1: Micheal Schumacher's 7 F1
NHL: All the records by the player Wayne Gretzky
Track: Roger Bannister--First man to break 4-minute mile mark
What do you think ?

Formula One: Michael Shumacher's seven world championships, including his runaway 2002 title

Are we doing singular records? w/e I'll just post the amazing records of Wayne Gretzky. All associated with the NHL.

Most Points: 3,239 (including Playoffs)
Most Assists: 2,223 (including Playoffs)
Most Goals: 1,016 (including Playoffs)
Only 200+ point season. Ever.
15 100+ point seasons (13 consecutively)
10 Scoring Titles
9 MVP Awards

If we're just doing the best record from each major sport, then choose the most points one.

List updated, please include some more ! And for Wayne Gretzky's records, I put them all together and said, "all the records by the player Wayne Gretzky"

Wayne Gretzky. He has more ASSISTS alone than any other player has POINTS (goals + assists combined). That's f'in crazy.

I still think Bobby Orr was better though.

Sir Don Bradman surely should get a mention here. He was the best cricketer to ever play the sport!

Sir Donald George Bradman AC (27 August 1908—25 February 2001), often called The Don, was an Australian cricketer, administrator and writer on the game, generally acknowledged as the greatest batsman of all time.[1] He is one of Australia's most popular sporting heroes, and one of the most respected past players in other cricketing nations.[2] His career Test batting average of 99.94 is by some measures the greatest statistical performance in any major sport.

I think that people who insist on astriking Barry Bonds record.. well, shouldn't. People act like he's the first person to use steroids in baseball. I'm willing ot be about 75% of people use steroids. And Back in Ruths day, or Aarons day..they didn't test that often anyways. Who can prove they didn't use? I wonder how often Cal Ripken was tested for HGH during his huge streak..

btw bot, I think Cal Ripkens 2,131 straight games is a way better record the 756 homeruns. That will be eclipsed by A-rod within 7-10 years. Cal Ripkens record will stand forever.
