Green Lantern Corps TV Series?

The comic rumors column Lying in the Gutters is reporting a casting call was recently held for a TV series simply called "The Corps." The lead character: "John Stewart." Supporting cast includes such characters as "Hal Jordan" and several others that I'm...unclear of origins for. Rumor on said site includes a link to the source (I wish EVERYONE would link to their sources for rumors).

Might explain why we've never had a Green Lantern on Smallville. Kinda.
