Howdy all,
I am PokéSpirit and I would like to tell you a bit about myself.
I have been a fan of Pocket Monsters since back in 1998 ... or was that 1999 ... when the series debuted in Australia. I got into the Anime first and then the games and over the years, it has been a bit of an on and off thing for me. But recently, I have come back with the Japanese release of HeartGold and SoulSilver. I bought myself a copy of HG when I was in Japan and have been enjoying it. As far as my sectors of interest in PM, it's mostly in the Anime and Games.
I have been learning Japanese for the past few years and even plan to take an exchange trip in 2011, so I do know some of the language. Considering PM is a kids show, I have been able to understand the Japanese version a bit and I am a fan of the original version of the show, although still a fan of the Dub (admittedly though, this is probably due to nostalgia on my part).
Currently, I am planning to watch the show again from the start of the DP Arc, since I have been missing out on the show for quite some time. One of my dreams has been to open up a PM website, mainly dedicated to the Anime side of things, so I am hoping to do that soon.
I hope to become an active part of the community and maybe ... who knows, I might open that PM website.
