I've had success with Landorus. I usually pair him with Zapdos.

Ground-types tend to make great users of SR, especially Mamoswine and Garchomp, both of which I use reguarly on offensive teams; what about Landorus-T?

These are the sets I use, but I'll be happy to try a different Ground-type for a change (both of these are also only secondary Ground-types); any suggestions?

It is difficult to compare because they all have different roles and specialties, but I narrow it down to Mamo, Garchomp and Landorus. Between those three if I really HAD to choose I would probably pick Garchomp because my defensive set seems to counter a lot of very difficult threats, but I guess I just have the most experience using Garchomp compared to the others. :p

Landorus-T is really the only "correct" answer in the strictest sense, as it can fulfill the highest number of roles (including wall/defensive SR user, offensive SR user, Scarfer, and even sweeper or wallbreaker with Double Dance Earth Plate or even just SD sometimes) and is not outclassed in any of them, having unique benefits over the other options, such as Intimidate, a Ground immunity, access to Knock Off and U-Turn, etc.

However the question is fundamentally flawed in that no two ground types are used for the same reason - for instance while Hippo, Garchomp, Gliscor, and Lando can all be "bulky grounds", they all have unique merits over each other and thus there is no one choice that will work best on every team. For instance Gliscor can break stall with Taunt or Swords Dance and its status immunity while Lando can act as a pivot with Intimidate and U-Turn, Garchomp can passively weaken contact attackers with Rough Skin + Rocky Helmet while it sets Rocks or phazes with Dtail, and Hippo can phaze with Roar, set Sand, and has the best pure bulk along with reliable recovery with Slack Off, as well as not being 4x weak to Ice, so it checks HP Ice MMan and Raikou better.
