Hi Group B,

Talking about the anime (both versions) is what I can do best. I also have the Japanese version of Platinum, so we could discuss that as well since the game just came out in America.
 
Wow. It seems I've been placed in a group with people who could talk circles around me when it comes to Pokemon.

As I said before, I'm no expert when it comes to anything Pokemon -- I'm sure that is pretty evident by now, as long as one has read my postings here -- and I'm certainly in the dark on all things on the Japanese side of the franchise. . .I know absolutely nothing about the TCG, or any similar facets of the franchise either. . .It'd probably be best if I stuck to talking about the English dub and games, as those are the pieces of the franchise I follow most, and I've found one of my only strengths in life is criticism.

YeOldeJacob, the english dub and the games are a very important part of the franchise. I am sure that a large percentage of our listeners watch the dub and/or play the games, so to have a knowledge of both can be a very valuable thing for this season.

Rocket Girl, as I have said before, a knowledge of the anime will be very valuable, glad to have you in our group.

I really like that idea. I think a discussion of the latest raw/dub episodes should be the first anime topic, including our thoughts on the HD switchover. Then maybe we could discuss the anime spoilers that were just revealed, as well as the end of season 11 in the dub since those titles were just revealed. I think the state of the BulbaChat update would be a good way to close it all out.

Would all of that take 10-15 minutes, or should there be something else? We could give our thoughts on movie 12 if we needed more content.

How soon are we going to record all this? I know PikachuTrainer isn't available until April, so maybe the first weekend of April?

Sounds good to me. I think Platinum is a great topic for a round-table type discussion. . .and the anime will obviously have to be a topic.

Again, these were, more or less, the ideas I was tossing around in my head. I'd be able to contribute -- somewhat constructively -- to the English dub/games topics, and I could throw in my two cents on the HD switch, as well as the spoilers.

I'm fine with the first weekend in April. . .I'd prefer a Saturday, but I can do a Sunday if we must.

Looks like Group A is taking up dub anime and Platinum; Group C hasn't decided anything fully yet and neither has Group D. I think a few topics that could qualify for our group are:
~ Anime going HD, widescreen
~ GSDS Speculation
~ And, definitely what PPN has already suggested
Putting these together could easily get us a fifteen-minute cast.

Oh, and by the way, my last exam has been postponed to the 2nd of April, so I'll be able to record/edit/speak on or after 2nd April (7:00 GMT).
 
I thought of something else we should discuss. The whoring out of notched-ear Pichu has just begun in Japan, and I thought we could have some good discussion on that. What does it mean for the anime, the games (It could lead into the GSDS speculation PikachuTrAiNeR was taking about) and we could give our thoughts on the new ending.
 
Well, here are the ranges I'm ready for:
01:30 - 07:30 GMT
08:30 - 11:30 GMT
12:30 - 16:30 GMT
17:30 - {variable} GMT (can extend up to 01:30)
 
If we plan on doing this the first weekend in April, I won't be available from 8:00AM - 2:30PM EST (So that's 1200 - 1830 GMT?) on the 4th due to testing. . .So it may be best if we do it on that Sunday, if that is fine with you all.

Hey guys, just a heads-up, it'd be great if you could set a time when the 'cast was taking place, just so I know you're on track.
 
Could we try 500? That would be a compromise between Rocket Girl and YeOldeJacob's availability.
 
Well. . .now that my test has been pushed back, I'm much more flexible as to when we can do this, if we still plan on doing it today or tomorrow. So any time that is fine with you all is fine with me.

I'd like to point out that it'll be difficult to discuss all three topics, and I think two would be better. As Platinum is pretty much being discussed by every other group, I'd say that we should discuss the other two.
