Hey I'm new here, and I'm trying to breed a Cyndaqwuil of awesome proportions.

For this, I need a male Growlithe.

It'd be UBER appreciated if it already knows Heat Wave. Since I want the Cyndaquil baby to learn it. I already have a Cyndaquil that can learn Extrasensory~<3 Now I need to get it to mate with the Growlithe to know Heat Wave as well~
 
Damn, someone had a similar idea I did.
I don't have the growlithe but I can get you a leafstorm treecko and a metalclaw/aquajet totodile for one of the final products once you do breed them. :D

The totodile's more than promising to me :3

It SHOULD come out being a Cyndaquil with:

Tackle, Extrasensory, Flamethrower, and Heat Wave.

Such a sexy starting moveset. All you really need to do is replace Tackle with Eruption later and you're set~

Not only that but the stats may end up decentish. I grind my pokemon with Exp. Share in the Elite Four lol. Much easier than using the Day Care Center. Plus they get their EVs through the Exp. Share, if I remember right :3
 
YESH D: I have myGrowlithe!!!! Traded for my weaker Lugia. I'm soon going to open a thread for Psychic Cyndaquils in the offering threads!! If you wanna make an offer, I'll start hatching them as soon as I can teach this level 1 Growlithe Heat Wave.
 
...Man, I thought you wanted Heat Wave Growlithe. I coulda gotten you a random one a lot sooner. :p

How would you get a Cyndaquil with Extrasensory from a Male Growlithe parent when Growlithe can't learn Extrasensory?
 
Extrasensory is not learnable by Growlithe or Cyndaquil through any legitimate methods unless there is a HGSS exclusive breed line that I am not aware of. All said Cyndaquils are hacks unless the above is proven.

Not even hard to prove. Cyndaquil can learn Extransensory. Growlithe cannot, however, and that makes the aforementioned moveset impossible (as a female Cyndaquil cannot pass forward moves).
 
I dont know too much about breeding, but couldn't you just breed a Vulpix with the Growlithe to learn Heat Wave, level it up to learn Extrasensory, then breed it with a Cyndaquil to get that moveset?
 
I need to get a FEMALE vulpix, mate it with my Growlithe for a male with Heat Wave, then finally level it up tediously so it can learn Extrasensory. Then finally, I can mate with the Typhlosion. That should do it. Tedious, but it'll work.

That's what I was saying glad you got ut figured out :) I'll be looking into getting one of those Cyndaquils
