Hello people. =P Well, seeing as how this is a Pokémon board and all, I figured I'd go ahead and post a few of my Pokémon artworks. No, not my "Team Rocket Forever" or Eeveelutions "Eons" pics since I've posted those Goddess-only-knows how many times on other boards (and even on this one before I think, even though that was around 2 years ago o_O). Anyway, all I have today are a Slowbro pic, a giddy Lickitung pic, and a somewhat chibi-fied Wobbuffet. Because all are somewhat large, I'll link to them:

Oh, my FFVI art?? Well, I hadn't planned on it, but I don't see why not...

I haven't really done any new ones lately... well, haven't finished any new ones I guess I should say (I've actually drawn a few, including one of Relm painting a pained-looking Edgar portrait, but my scanner hasn't been working in forever now so I haven't gotten them on my computer...)

Oh, those guys are so cute! I wish I knew more about art so I could make educated comments. But I do like the colors (they're bright! yay) and the way you've drawn them to look "in action." Makes 'em seem so lively. :-D

The poses are a little different than other I have seen, but not by much. The coloring is nice overall. I'm not too excited about your pictures, but they're not bad either.
 
It's unanimouse. Your art is creative, and very, very nicely done. Basically, they're perfect. Good work. =D
 
Oh, well, I don't know about perfect, but thanks all the same. :awww: It's nice to see that people enjoy them anyway.

Thanks for the posts--I guess if you wanted to see some other pokéstuff of mine, I could share the aforementioned infamous (not in the good way.. :sweat: ) pics if you guys haven't seen them yet. I know BJ has by now at least. Anyway, if not here they are:

*sigh ~_~;* I know that Eevee is way too big in proportion to the others in that one pic... rarrgh *clenches fist*, that still gets me to this day even though I guess there's nothing I can do about it now. And the TR one's pretty darn old, and I know I can do a much better job with them now, but again--too late now I guess.

Awwww...those are cool. That style reminds me of comic book art, and I like it. Chibi Team Rocket! You do know you must do chibi /Gym Leaders & Elite Four now.:-D
 
Wow, those are all seriously good. I love how you color them, and make the color so thick and rich. And not using a computer program to color them just makes them seem more...I don't know, natural I guess. But enough of my rambling. Great job!

Anyway, thanks, people! I appreciate the posts, even though it probably doesn't seem like it since I forgot I made this thread for a day or two there, I realize. But it's true all the same, and especially when said posts are all-around nice comments like you guys have made. Bwee. =p

*pictures a chibi-Lorelei* Ya know, I have done Brock once before, as well as Miyamoto (Jessie's mom) with Mew, but I didn't think either were any of my best works, and especially the Brock. Somebody also told me once that I really ought to try making a chibi-Domino, which sounded like an interesting idea, heh.

I guess it's true most of the fanart you tend to see nowadays is done in computer programs, but I don't think I'm really much good with those... or in any case, I'm a lot more comfortable with traditional mediums. I guess I feel it gives me more control or something. *shrugs*

Anyway, though, guess that's sort of getting off-topic. Thanks again, all. :)

Adorable! That's the best word. Everyone's said it, but I'll say it again anyway: you've got such clean coloring. So bright. Yes, draw more. ^_^
 
I thought the first three were cute, but then I saw the last two and GASP! Absolutely adorable! O.O I love the Eeveelutions one! How did you color it so perfectly!?

Um, my coloring... well, I pretty much exclusively use colored pencils to color my work; Usually I do the base color of a given area first (straight from the box or blended as neccessary) and then go over it doing the shading and highlighting afterwards. Then I finish the whole thing off by going over all the original lines with the black pencil and thicken and taper it in places since I like to use bold lines. Usually one of these pics takes me several hours from start to finish...

And you know, that Eeveelutions one was actually done on request for someone. I'm not even sure if he liked it, since he never did say "thanks" or much else for it once it was finished...
