What are some video games that are bad, and you can’t help but enjoy them anyway?

I enjoyed Pokémon Channel more than I’ll admit to. Also, The Dog Island was a great game with one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever listened to. I could listen to Puroro Town for hours.

I don't know if it falls under guilty pleasures, but since the games are probably aimed at a younger audience than I am being late 20s. I enjoy playing LEGO games, they're chill, relaxing, and often quite cheesy but there's something about them that I don't find replicated in other games. It's a way to connect to my younger siblings too as there's a fair few years between some of us and it's simple enough that they can play whenever I visit my parents and such. I am very excited for the new Lego Batman as I could see it being an offshoot yet spiritual successor to the Arkham series.

That being said, I feel like a lot of people hated Arkham Knight at the time, I love that game.

Dragon Ball: The Breakers. Is it bad? Yeah its not great... do I have fun with it? YES!

A joke of mine is glazing this game to no end. I am aware its not a good game, but I absolutely love trying to survive agasint the overpowered Dragon Ball villains as a puny human. I like how you can see Xenoverse 2's Conton City from the Breakers island. I love customizing my character, I love all the emotes and voicelines.

Some of the stages sorta suck. (Lookin at you Dark Future) All of the raiders are fun. I was hyped for each and every one of them. Ive bought almost all of them (Except the Upgraded Buu/Cell and DBS Broly)

Ive played this game since launch and its been a great experience.

I'd probably say Dissidia Final Fantasy NT, even though the single player content is really limited and it has none of the RPG mechanics the older Dissidia games did, I still had a pretty great time with it. The 3 vs. 3 gameplay style was interesting, and playing this game made me appreciate some characters a lot more than I used to (especially Rinoa).

While this isn't considered to be a bad game by many, I enjoyed Xenoblade Chronicles 2 more than I thought I would and still probably more than I think I should. The story is basically a shonen anime and is filled to the brim with such tropes, but I had enough fun with the exploration, combat, and even the characters throughout.

I would also say Star Wars: Obi-Wan for the OG Xbox would be another guilty pleasure of mine. The game received rather poor scores from critics at the time, but, while at least some of the criticisms and notable flaws were spot on, I still enjoyed the various stages and objectives in this game, despite some frustrations I had with a few of them...along with the arena matches with the Jedi Council members in-between missions. That was amusing and fun.

Ahem... that... would be my third favorite game of all time after Kid Icarus Uprising and Undertale...

Anyway, as a Guilty Pleasure for myself, I think I'll go with Princess Peach Showtime. The game is basically a skeleton of what could have been something bigger. But I still had a really fun time with it (outside the Detective Peach levels, those were boring).

Also, I really enjoyed Yoshi's Island DS despite a few frustratingly designed levels (mostly some of the secret levels and the second-to-last base level of the game).
