The sheer imaginative death of Jack Thompson is hillarious. Notice, true to lawyer mentality, he sues despite being chopped in half!

Yeah, they're apparently all (for the most part) made out of a template.

And given poor man's Penny Arcade-like dialouge.

They're hilarious in the same way this is. A delibrate troll attempt that a ton of morons seem to take seriously.

Looking at the comment section of the comic...
unless you want to accumulate a long list of examples of power up comics's acts of corruption and depredation, this letter may become a bit monotonous. However, I indeed do hope you read it all the way through because nearly all of the assumptions and statements made by power up comics are completely, absolutely, and totally wrong. The points I plan to make in this letter will sound tediously familiar to everyone who wants to ensure that this comic is removed from the internet. Nevertheless, it has had some success in destroying our moral fiber. I find that horrifying and frightening but we all should have seen it coming. We all knew that power up comics keeps bashing other races and homosexuals and this is a racist and sexist crime. To me, there is something fundamentally wrong with that. Maybe it's that power up comic's favorite scapegoats are Asians, homosexuals, African Americans, parents, teachers, and just about everything else. Am I aware of how power up comics will react when it reads that last sentence? Yes. Do I care? No, because we must reveal the nature and activity of its blatant wrongs against society and expose their inner contexts as well as their ultimate final aims. As mentioned above, however, that is not enough. It is necessary to do more. It is necessary to remove this comic from the internet. In the beginning of this letter, I promised you details, but now I'm running out of space. So here's one detail to end with: Creating needed understanding is best achieved in a calm, rational environment.

So in other words, they're taking the Carlos Mencia route of "OH SNAP WE'RE SAYING WHAT EVERYONE ELSE IS AFRAID TO SAY!!!!!"?

Uh...no.

The comic is a parody of the numerous bad comics, and the people who make them make them horribly unfunny on purpose so much so that that's funny in itself.

The thing I quoted is basically a comment from a viewer such as yourself Dogasu who can't figure that out. :X

EDIT: I love how they make minor alterations to the characters in each comic.

...So they're basically being "funny" by being "ironic" by doing exactly what every idiot is doing...but KNOWING it's stupid? I...don't see how that's funny. If anything...that's just sad.

Oh, and technically the comics forum is for discussion of webcomics (as it says in its description). ...I'm anal-retentive. It's how I roll.

Lol! I was going to say this. A lot of internet comics do that (It's very lazy, but I understand a bit) It's kind of funny that they are parodying them... but there are so many horrible internet comics that it is very easy to just blow this one off as like the others. (And it's not like there will ever not be bad internet comics)

I do like the Jack Thompson one though. I get irony. lol
 
Don't get me wrong. I *get* the joke.

I just don't think it's funny.

Like I said in my first post in this thread...this comic and any irony or parody it's stiving for is about as funny as a Family Circus comic.

...This is the unfunniest Penny Arcade ripoff I've ever seen. That is all.
 
I think their funny...not hilarious...but funny.

And I COMPLETELY agree with the PBR comic. That game had way more potential, and it was ruined. It should've been another 3d RPG but with more of a traditional feel (wilds, gyms, e4, no shadow pokemon, etc)
