Gym Leader prediction

(Hey, it's a break from all the Fake Pokemon; it's not a crime).

Ah do declare! There is a pattern!

There's a high chance of this happening:

If there's a Fighting and/or Electric GL in Shinou, I predict they will be female, for the last three/two trainers (Bruno/Chuck/Brawly and Surge/Wattson) were all male. And that's just mean. D8 It's rather overdue if you think about it.

Aside from this, there's a pattern to the gender distribution, in order of Generation:

Rock - male/female (Brock/Roxanne)
Psychic - female/male/female+male (Sabrina/Will/Liza+Tate)
Ghost - female/male/female (Agatha/Morty/Phoebe)
Dark - female/male (Karen/Sidney)
Dragon - male/female/male (Lance/Clair/Drake)
Steel - female/male (Jasmine/Steven)
Flying - male/female (Falkner/Winona)
Normal - female/male (Whitney/Norman)
Fire - male/female (Blaine/Flannery)
Poison - male/female (Koga/Janine)
Ice - female/male/female (Lorelei/Pryce/Glacia)

...Yes, Steven's a Steel trainer, for those of you who don't believe it.

Only the Water trainers break the mold (female/male/male [damn you Juan]) and Ground, Bug, and Grass only have one trainer. However, thinking of Water trainers as the odd duck in the pond is right. Juan's not RuSa canon, he's Emerald canon; he can easily not count, but no matter. Pattern still holds.

Which means the possibility of this scenario...

Rock - male
Psychic - male
Ghost - male
Dark - female
Dragon - female
Steel - female
Flying - male
Normal - female
Fire - male
Poison - male
Ice - male

...is high. It's not set in stone (I have a feeling the Dragon trainer will be male, the Poison trainer female, and the Normal trainer male) but it's likely.

I predict a female Water trainer and Ground trainer, and a male Bug trainer and Grass trainer. Though only the Bug trainer prediction breaks away from the "pattern", cliché says girls don't like bugs. However, if they do stick to the pattern, and make the Bug trainer female....w00tage!

I counted the E4 because in R/B and RuSa, no GL trained the same type as the E4. GS gets off lightly in this respect because the game includes Johto and Kanto, with a total of 17 type-based gyms (Viridian dun count no more, because Blue used his R/B team, minus the starter variant), and the E4+champion are mono-types too, so you're gonna double up either way.

Not to mention, this prediction will apply to the E4 too (GL, E4, they're leaders of the league, same thing when it comes to it). Unless they have more than eight gyms, it'll follow the same no-double-on-type system. At least for D/P. Their follow-up game could mix it up, like Emerald did.

o_O And I didn't forget Wallace. He's a Water trainer. Misty/Wallace/Juan. Part of the three.
 
It would be cool if there was a gym for each type...
 
I agree, having more than 8 gyms would be nice to give you a bit of variety. I was thinking that you could have like 2 gyms for each kind of level cap thing since there are over 16 types. It would also be good for training since you could go to both gyms per level cap but still only get one of the badges to count towards the league.
 
Well... I'm not sure if I'm up for 16 official gyms before the elte 4. Personally I'm looking at this for the gyms (which is part prediction, part just something I want)

1) Psychic
2) Steel
3) Ground
4) Ice
5) Bug
6) Fire & Water (double battle)
7) Grass
8) Dragon

Maybe that'll be kind of weird, but I want to see Steel as an earily gym, and Bug at a later place. Then I want a return of Dragon and Ground type gyms. I think the chance of there being an Ice gym is high, as with steel, rock, or ground due to the way Shinou is as a region.. I also wanted a grass gym again, I only remember erika as the grass gym leader, so it'd be nice to have another one on wallance's level, I also want another double gym battle because it was fun.. but I don't know what'd be good. But other than that are random places.

After that, though, I think it'd be cool if there were other gyms. Personally I want to be able to return to the older regions and rebattle those gym leaders after beating the game, but having extra gyms in a battle frontier type of way would be cool also.

urg, I forgot about a Dark Gym... that would be good to have..

I don't care too much about what the other Gym Leaders will be, but I would like to at least see a Dark Gym. I know there have been 2 Dark Elite Four people, but Dark needs a Gym!

I'd also like to see Ghost, Grass, Bug, Steel, Ice, Ground.. but I'd prefer to see a Dark Gym above all others.
 
I'm not big on the idea of 2 gyms for each level cap. I mean, unless battling one disqualifies you from the other, you'd theoretically be eligible for the E4 at level 30. That being said, I want:

1. Grass
2. Ground
3. Ice
4. Bug
5. Dark + Steel (Double Battle)
6. Water + Fire (Double)
7. Dragon
8. Though it's definately not gonna happen, I'd like to see a gym of previous legendaries. I think that would be cool.
