Gym Leaders and Elite Four

As you all know, DP is the first series to show all Gym Leaders, Elite Four, and Champion in the same series.

So far, we have yet to see a single Elite Four members, but all Gym Leaders (pre-BW2) and the Champion.

Since we know Homika will appear, do you think Cheren and Shizui will appear? Do you think they didn't have Cheren for this reason?

And since we haven't seen a single Elite Four now, do you expect Grimsley, Caitlin, Marshal, and Shauntal anytime soon?

It's been revealed that Cheren is the new gym leader, Bianca is Juniper's assistant - so I'm going to say they're going to appear. Cheren's much too important NOT to appear

I don't think Cheren will appear. Animé Bel is her BW self, not her B2W2 self, so it would be weird to see Cheren be his B2W2 self in the Animé... also... Gym battle with a Patrat... at this point... no thanks. XD I think we'll see Shizui though.

Since we didn't see the Elite 4, I'm wondering if they will be changed in the games this time around.

Shizui: Most likely yes.
Other elite 4 members: Also most likely yes.
Cheren: Maybe... But in order for Cheren to appear, either he would have to be the same age as in BW (unlikely), he would have to be older than Bianca (), or there would have to be a 2 year time jump... Which means that Ash might also age! First sign of the apocalypse! LOL

I want to believe that Shizui will appear, considering that Homika will appear in the anime soon. All members of the Unova E4 are likely to appear as well. We got confirmation that Caitlin will participate, and the prize of the World Tournament seems to be a battle against Alder. Marshal, who is Alder's student in the games, will most likely not turn down this opportunity.

Also... Gym battle with a Patrat... at this point... no thanks. XD.

Cheren was seen with a Stoutland in the B2W2 animated short, so it is possible that he already has a team of powerful Normal-types in those games.
