I have a question about the hacked Pokemon being banned from trading on the Wi-Fi.

If a person (not me because I've used mine) was to use the Emerald cloning glitch to create multiple Masterballs, and those Masterballs were then transferred to D/P through Pal Park and used to catch legitimate Pokemon, would the cloned ball result in the Pokemon being deemed as a hack, or illegitimate Pokemon for Wi-Fi trading?

i had some of those Masterballs and i caught like Zapdos or something with them and its allowed in Trainer Tower on FR so i doubt it

Items (for better or worse) do not come with all the bells and whistles that creatures do. Creatures have Trainer IDs, Trainer Names, where they were met, what their nature is, and their IVs. Tons of factors that are unique to every creature and which are outside the control of the gamer (unless he hacks). Items have none of this -- you can't even tell whether a MasterBall you import is from Ruby or Emerald, let alone tell which trainer it came from or if it was cloned or what. For all intents and purposes, all items are identical and were made that way for logical reasons going back to the very first games where you could have more than one of certain items (like a potion or gold nugget).
