is anyone else exited about Halo3?(sorry if this is in the wrong place)

i know! why did it have to be for 360!!!

Not exactly, only if a few friends had to make that ever so apparent. I know I'm going to play a round or two ... but Halo was never my forte, nor any shooters in general. Chances are, I'm not going to play until they complete all the new scenarios, but I could care less.

There are so many other more fun games in the world...so much more fun. But that seems to be the most popular and I do enjoy the sword-rushing...but all my friends spend so much time playing Halo that I'll probably never get good at it enough to kick booty. I'll stick with SSBB...*drool*.

im uber excited. im going to be completely honest, i know ill probably be hated forever for saying this, but o well.
compared to halo, i think pokemon sucks, big time. im not saying i hate pokemon. im just saying i like the whole halo universe way better than any pokemon game out there.
and thats just my opinion

Well, I actually picked up a 360 today on the spur of the moment and pre-ordered it. I was rather surprised with myself considering I thought my Wii was a bit expensive.

i got it two days ago and it is the best game i have ever played

i totally agree la5chance! halo is a little better than pokemon!(i mean come on,who does not like killing aliens in space?)

Just completed it. MUCH better than I expected it to be. Not much in the way of graphics improvement, but there wasn't really much you could improve about Halo 2's graphics; they were rather ahead of the pack already. LOVE the field items too (Bubble Shield, Deployable Cover etc.)

Plot wise, it was very in-depth, and easy-to-follow without being dumbed down, something I like in a game. Didn't like the ending so much though, although that's all I'm going to say on that subject.

The final level is nerve-wracking, frustrating, and fickle, yet at the same time, enormous fun. Gameplay-wise, I'd have to say that, on Easy Mode (which I did for the benefit of plot-attention,) the game is rather hand-holdy (navpoints etc.)

Multiplayer is made of God-Win, and should be played at all costs. Overall, the game has really good replay value, which is what I look for most in a game; one that keeps you coming back for more. A really good reason to buy a 360 if you were thinking about it.
