In general, drawing chibis just isn't my thing - mine have always looked sort of forced, in my opinion. So why the balls am I drawing chibis, you may ask?

Well, I figured cutesy chibi drawings might help attract the people passing by to my music table. See, I'm in charge of a playlist of songs to be used as background music for the local library's miniature anime convention. I figured I'd make a little mini-magazine with information on the groups in the playlist, so those who are interested can learn a bit about some Japanese artists/groups. The chibis would catch their eye.

But in addition to that, drawing people who are only two heads tall has turned out to be surprisingly fun. :O

Three Japanese rockers that I jokingly referred to as Angry, Happy, and Sleepy while drawing them.

I've already noticed a bit of improvement from the first to the last chibi in that picture. I'm currently in the process of coloring and adding extra details to these three (coat, guitar strings, that sort of stuff) in Paint Shop Pro. I hope they turn out well.

Enjoy.

Oooh, L'Arc. I like.

Who are they? I think the middle one is Hyde- am I right?

The member's of L'Arc en Ceil are too old to be Chibi'd. I mock all your fangirl urges!

That's a really cool idea though (And great pictures) If you don't mind, I wouldn't mind making some Chibi's for you for band propaganda for some of my favorites, myself. I'll give it a shot and post tonight, but I'm not very good at Chibi's anymore.

The Pillows
Asian Kung-fu Generation
Straightener
I'd do more, but mine turned out pretty bad and sketchy

>I think the middle one is Hyde- am I right?

Nope, it's tetsu.

>bell02's band propaganda

Those are really nifty. I especially like the Straightener chibis.

>Band Propoganda FTW!!!

"Band Propaganda," eh? I like the sound of that phrase. :D

>Haha. I love the one on the right's expression. Kind of saying: "I'm not sure I want to be here."

See, I always thought he was wondering "WHAT HAS SCIENCE DONE" with regard to the awkwardly drawn left hand. =P

Thanks, I'm glad you liked them.

Hana's chibis: now with some more proportional and anatomical errors, much better hands, a banana phone, and Kuma-chang.

Oh, and here's some bonus Nodame. Mukya~.
