Yep, it's now April 1st 2012 in Japan. :) The 15th year anniversary is here! Let's celebrate! :-D

Yep, happy birthday to the Pokemon anime. It may be 15 years old, and 733 episodes long, but the anime is still going strong today.

I swear to God whenever I hear Mezase Pokémon Master I return to early 2000s, even though I didn't hear it at that time.
 
Is it weird that, despite being introduced to pokemon via the american version, 'Aim to be a Pokemon Master' is the theme that makes me feel the most nostalgic? I can't explain why, it just has that quality to it.

This milestone is kind of bittersweet. It's cool that the show has lasted all this time, and despite it's ups and downs, it's been a blast staying with it for so long. However...it's sad to realise just how much time has passed. Really doesn't feel like it's been 15 years :/
 
Its really hard to believe its been on for 15 years. I remember when the show first started I thought it would go on for maybe 5-7 years like most shows and then be done and over with.
 
15 years of an ongoing loophole. 15 years of great characters. 15 years of great memories. 15 years of wasted potential.

Here's to another 15!
 
I wonder if those nostalgia-seeking missiles will still want the original 4 Kids voice actors, along with Brock and Misty, to return in 15 years time.

Just wait until the 20th anniversary.
 
I'm actually in the middle of watching a Season 1 marathon with the anime club at my campus. Can't be a coincidence that this was held today.

After just watching the Pikachu/Caterpie moonlight scene, I'm reminded what the anime "means," for lack of a better term. It's a nice feeling.

Wow, already? What a crazy run it's been, with all the ups and downs. Happy anniversary, anime.

Of course, the anime has now run longer than Ash has supposedly been alive. :/
 
... I think it's safe to say that the anime is here to stay. *shot*

While I might grow out of it, I'll never stop liking it. I'll always have good memories of the Pokémon anime, no matter what.
 
Wow, 15 years!

The Pokemon anime was a part of my childhood, just like so many of you. Therefore I will always treasure it, no matter what direction it goes in. It has made me a happier person, and I am proud to say I am still a fan!
 
OKAY. So I watched the 15th anniversary special, and it's safe to say that I still love Pokemon even after all these years.

I mean, for fuck's sake, I literally stopped breathing and lost motor control of my hands when Paul came up XD

I may go into slumps, and I may criticize it and over-analyze it, but Pokemon will ALWAYS have a place in my heart. It's connected me with so many people, gave me inspiration to draw and create, cheered my up on my saddest days and is such an important part of my life, I don't know what I'd do without it.

Pokemon, GETTO DAZE!!!!
