Hardest Unova Gym?

Had a rather rough time against Clay in Black 2. Coming in second is Lenora.

Marlon and that effing Jellicent. Mad resepect to GF though, I literally was all wut the fuck when it started spamming recover on me.

Elesa was the hardest for me and the only one I got completely mollywhopped at in the game. I think it was because my team was essentially Timburr, flaffy, Oshawott and Magnemite

<_<

Back in BW1, Elesa was super annoying, with those ground-immune Emolga and electric moves destroying my Oshawott.....

I had to battle Cheren in W2 like three times before I won! He and his stupid Work-up spamming and beastly Lillipup was a total bitch! It took me forever on those low level pokemon around there to level up enough to give me an advantage and none of my pokemon learned anything strong enough or with an advantage against normal types, so I was stuck trying to whittle his pokemon down before he stopped spamming work-up and started OKOing my pokemon! That f*cking bastard! I think he's the only Unova gym leader I had to battle more than once, though Clay was pretty tough. I blew passed Elesa easily, though. Her Emolga could volt-switch all they wanted, they didn't stand a chance. Stupid flying rats.

B2W2, Cheren was really tough for a first gym. The only available Pokemon with Fighting-type moves is the Riolu from the ranch, but I hadn't raised a Riolu at that point, and with all that Work Up he spammed, it took me several tries to get through.

Clay in W2 gave me the most trouble. Namely his Excadrill. I remember taking my break at work to face him, thinking I'd be fine, but that Excadrill kept giving me trouble. The things I had with super effective moves against it were my Lucario, and Growlithe, but its Bulldoze managed to take care of them every time. Wasn't until my 3rd, or 4th try in that Servine got the job done.

Cheren. It took me like three times to defeat him, mostly becuase I didn't wanted my Riolu to be defeated by his Patrat (his Lillipup was murdered by my Oshawott).

Clay in B2 was the toughest for me. He was pretty easy in the original BW, as I had a Dewott that time and a Servine this time. I waltzed in thinking I could take my next badge and leave. His Excadrill hit way too hard and fast for my taste. I think he even KOed my Servine, and I had to battle him twice to win.

Everybody else I leveled up for and brought type coverage, if applicable.

Original games? Elesa takes the trophy, with Lenora second and Cress third.
Sequels? Clay, Drayden, Cheren.

Elesa... hard? What games did you people play? She was a joke. The only leader slightly hard was Lenora and that is because I never over-level my teams and catch more than three Pokémon before the fourth gym.

Is Clay really that hard in BW2? My Golduck could easily take out his Excadrill, but I may have been overleveled.

I always had a hard time with Lenora though. I hate retaliate.

I found all of them pretty easy (especially Brycen. Seriously, in Black I swept him with an underleveled Stunfisk). However, I can see how in BW1, Elesa can be fairly annoying if you don't prepare for her two Emolga. However, if you have a counter for her Emolga it can be a fairly easy battle. I liked Cheren in B2W2 because I was only using my starter, so it was more difficult (as there were no Pokémon early on that I wanted to use). I could however, have trolled him with a Drifloon I got from Dream Radar if I wanted to though (I was nice and didn't xD).

I can vaguely recall Roxie being a pain, because of her Whirlipede. I also didn't use Lucario or Magnemite (as I used them in earlier games), so that made it harder.

Lenora in Black was the most difficult for me, none of my pokemon had enough attack power to deal significant damage to her Herdier and Watchdog at that point in the game and her pokemon could 2 hit KO mine, took me about 5 attempts to beat her. Didn't really have many problems with the other leaders except maybe Drayden. Had no problems at all with any of the gym leaders in White 2, beat them all easily on my first go.

I can say the hardest was Lenora in B/W, and no one in B2/W2. Her Retaliate Watchog was quite a thing, especially if you got unlucky with the Hypnoses.

Hmm...well, none of them were hard enough to leave an impression on me, it'd seem. But I guess I'd say Lenora because of the move Retaliate. >.<
The rest are a joke, ESPECIALLY Iris.

I thought Skyla gave the most trouble. Usually, my choices are not ideal against Flying-types (for starters, Snivy is my choice of a starter), which is why I thought that Skyla was a bit troublesome for me.

Thanks for reading.
