Harley When he was Younger
I know this will not be a good story. This is about a day in Harley's life when he was seven years old. It's based off of the Pokemon anime, an article I read about Narcissistic Personality Disorder ( www.mentalhealth.com/dis/p20-pe07.html ), the movie Brokeback Mountain, and another story I wrote about Harley. I won't go into full detail, just generalize.
Names:
Harley Majiin
Lucky Majiin (father)
Summer Breeze Majiin (mother)
Robert (Lucky's boyfriend)
Young Harley started this day by waking up, getting ready for school, and helping his mother wake up his brother and sister to get them to daycare before his mom takes them to daycare and Harley to school; before she drives off to work. During school he did well in classs and was a fine learner, but the other kids picked on him for looking like a girl, and sometimes acting like a girl.
He had a feud with a girl in his class because of her one day taking a bite from his food when she shouldn't have. Although, she thought he was done eating. He tried everything to get revenge on her from surpassing her in grades to humiliating her, but none of his plans worked and even backlashed. The other kids and his teachers thought he was evil and praised the girl instead.
At the end of the day he goes home, does his chores, and then works on his homework until his mom returns home with his brother and sister. Then he'll help his mother get dinner ready. His father was never around anymore, which is why Harley's mom and himself work as much as they do. On rare occasions his mother would call home to tell Harley she has to work late; leaving Harley to pick up his siblings by himself and fix dinner also. He'd then wash the dishes and finish his homework, and then he'd have about two hours to watch TV, study, and/or plan on how he'll get revenge on the girl he has as a classmate. He than helps his mom get his brother and sister to bed.
Afterwards he readys himself for sleep and the next day; until once again he hears his mother shouting on the phone. Once again she was shouting at his father, and once again she's using word's that Harley knew that he's ever be allowed to say. This time caught his attention by being a loud drawn out argument with both sides not only using words that Harley can't repeat but also with words and phrases he doesn't understand, but more so which his mom used against his father. He went to watch, and eventually they stopped and his mother hung up the phone. Who knows when she noticed Harley being there, but she stood there, enraged for twenty seconds, before looking at Harley and calming herself enough to speak without more shouting or violence. And with a broken heart, she told her son that his father had gotten a boyfriend and that he'd never come home again.
The story just sort of ends quickly after that. Harley thinks that his boyfriend, Robert, stole his father away from him. Harley asks Robert, with big blue eyes, if his dad wanted to be boyfriend and boyfriend first, or if it was him. Robert realizes how much Harley loves his mom and dad and lies to him. He says yes, he did seduce his father into being his. But the truth was much more complicated. His father and his mom used to fight a lot. He, Lucky, really did love her. But that love soon ended. They fought a lot. They yelled. They even got violent. He grew distant. He left the house for long periods of time. He started staying whole nights at a bar. This lead him into finding another partner, Robert in this case.
Harley didn't blame this on Lucky, Summer Breeze, or Robert though. He didn't know what to think, and tried to bottle it in. It lead to him taking out his anger on the kids who picked on him at school. (Those paragraphs before) One them he hated the most; she stole his favorite snack, hotdogs shaped like Octillery. This anger was continued through years and years of keeping grudges and getting revenge. This eventually lead him to develop Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He still is angry, and he still keeps grudges to this day.
