Mm... I'm really liking these covers. The US one looks like it's showing the final battle between Harry and Voldemort... WHICH TAKES PLACE IN A FRICKIN' COLLOSEUM! AWESOME!

The UK one is pretty good too. Where are they though, the goblin bank?

And the UK adult one is pretty plain.

I think that's got to be my favorite American cover so far. It really conveys how epic the book is supposed to be. Not as big a fan of the UK children's version, but it's still nice. And the UK adult are all boring, and this one isn't any more notable.

It looks like him and Harry are working toghether....

Or Harry's launching a Spirit Bomb.

I think the cover looks neat, but the cheery look is kind of weird... like they are about to take the stage and bow...

spoilerish foreshadowing symbolism FTL!...

but it actually makes me want to buy the book more so scholastic is still the winners!

What? The adult versions are cool! They're simplistic, yes, but not boring.

The UK version brings up a lot more questions than the US version. If you look carfeully, it looks like there is a house elf on Harry's back, who's carrying the sword. I like the US art better though.

The UK version is 608 pages long which longer than HBP by a massive...1 PAGE!

The UK one looks silly and makes me laugh.

The US one looks like they're at the veil or maybe beyond it.

All my HP books are the UK children's cover but I'm getting the adult cover this time.

The UK children's cover is the most thought provoking though. It also seems Discworld-esque to me.

The UK one sure is colourful, but the one showing Slytherin's Locket is much more better.

I quite like the kids UK one. :O Didn't see the House-Elf thing the first time, so I went back and looked, and sure enough there it is. xD

Also, is it just me, or does that helmet seem a bit Ravenclaw-ish to anybody else?

It's going to be over soon. ;_;

But yeah, great cover.

aahh I love Harry Potter, even more then pokémon, which is crazy.

But no, these covers. Well, for starts in the US one they definitely are in front of the veil in the Death Chamber at the Department of Mysteries . . and to me it looks like Harry and Voldemort are playing frisbee. hahahahaha

And the UK children's one, I'm pretty sure they are in treasure containing the remaining horcruxes, or at least one of them. The back is of course Hogwarts.

And then the UK adult one is the Necklace of Slytherin, most likely the last horcrux Harry needs to find? I don't know.

Ahh I'm so ready for it to come out, but so incredibly sad about it ending finally.

DD:

I was always wondering what's the difference between Adult and Child Version.

Because in Poland we have only one version, it has US Child Version's cover.

There is no difference, except for the "more mature" (IE - no cartoony kids) covers. The "adult" covers are just there so that people look like they're reading a "grownup" book instead of a "kid's book".

So, Cover is an onley difference. Pretty pointless, IMO.

Agreed.

"What this? No, this isn't Harry Potter. It doesn't have illustrations on the front. It's er . . . Bonfire of the Vanities!"

I'm starting to suspect that Harry might die :'o you know, like he sacrafices himself in order to kill Voldy.
