Basically, I have FireRed and LeafGreen, I need tips on catching the legendaries. Please send in some good ones.

Ok (First to post :D:D:D)

Articuno- After working your way through the Seafoam Isles, (For this make sure you have a Pokemon with Strength and a pokemon with Surf (Or both)) SAVE BEFORE FIGHTING

Bring something Durable, and not to hard hitting, preferably with a Paralysis Move or a Sleep Move. Make sure it isnt weak to Ice (So no Grass, Rock, Ground, Dragon) because its only attacking move is Ice Beam. Stock up on Ultra Balls. Once you get it in the red (False Swipe may be a good option for that BTW- See bottom of page) and either Paralyzed or Asleep, start throwing the balls. Hopefully, one will catch it.

Zapdos- You only need to bring one HMer (Surf) for this one, and that is to get there. Work your way around the plant until you find Zapdos. SAVE BEFOREHAND!

Use a Speedy pokemon to try and Sleep/Paralyse Zapdos straight away. Also Zapdos' only attacking move is Drill Peck, but it can also Thunder Wave you. Therefore, dont bring Grass, Bug, Fighting or other types weak to Flying to fight. CHip away at its health, maybe with a False Swiper (See bottom of post) Like with Articuno, stock up on Ultra Balls.

Moltres- Bring a Strengther, Surfer (And IIRC Rock Smasher) for this one.

You essentially the same strategy as before, but Moltres can attack you with Flamethrower and Fire Spin (So Dont use Bug, Steel (So no Scizor this time), Grass, Ice etc pokes)

Mewtwo- If you have a spare Master Ball that you arent gonna be using against whatever dog you have in each game (USe the Master Ball on the dogs), then use it against Mewtwo. Otherwise, use the same strategy above, apart from the fact it can use Psychic and can Recover.

False Swipe: Options include Syther/Scizor (Scizor better IMO, better defenses and Neutral to Flying) Marowak (Worse offense (Unless you are lucky enough to get Thick Club)) Once you can Breed and Get RSE pokes Fearow, Pinsir and Breloom are good options (Particularly Breloom with Spore)

How would a level 95 Sceptile that knows False Swipe do if I coupled it with a Status affecter (Gloom, Jumpluff...ETC.ETC.)?

I just caught all 3 a few days ago and for some reason no matter how many times I tryed to catch Zapdos it would not let me catch it. When I got to Moltres it would not let me catch that either no matter how hard I tryed (3-4 hours). and when I was going thru Seafoam Islands for the 1st time (I just went to Pallet Town and surfed to get to Cinnabar Island), but when I tryed to catch Articuno it only took me a few times to catch it. So I went and tryed my luck with Moltres and it still would not let me catch it so I flew to the Pokemon center by the Power Plant and surfed and I caught Zapdos within a few times (a little harder then Articuno), and the next day I was training on the 1st Island and I decided to go try moltres, and it let me catch it... (it made me catch them in order). So yeah if your having problems catching Moltres/Zapdos I highly recomend catching Articuno 1st)..
