Has anyone seen this map before?

I found this map and wonder if anyone has seen it before? Its at the bottom. It was for the TCG I think?

This dates back to when Gen 3 stuff was just being announced. Neat find.

Wow. That looks almost like an isometric view of the Eastern US, though that could be any land. With the TCG sets, certain card groups would be attached to an accompanying panorama. The Southern Islands collection was like this where Pokemon profiles would be generated by their various locations on the island map.

My guess is that this was working similar to that effect, choosing a fictional land separate from cannon to randomly place the pokemon at, for a fancy group picture. From that they could generate the pokemon living in their habitat and such for the face of the card.

I haven't a clue what that is. Rayne probably is right.

It's definitely the area that serves as the setting for Expedition, Aquapolis, and Skyridge.

And it does look like the US.
