Has the week system come back?

If not man they still took back from GSC...instead of adding to the whole thing they take features back, but we got contests =\. I like where they were going with it...I'd logically expect a weather system to be in place by Ruby/Sapphire, but nope they took out day and night.

Maybe by gen 7 we'll see a progress to the series.

And we have had TONS of progress in the gens.

Given that the DS has a functional internal calender, I wouldn't be all too surprised if we're going to have a few special in-game events for Christmas, Golden Week, and other Japanese holidays.

Wouldn't it get more complicated for localisation purposes when it comes to holidays? Golden Week isn't exactly celebrated everywhere, no?

It's more likely they'd do an Animal Crossing and celebrate general holidays in a disguised name.

Incidentally, I loaded up the game after telling the DS it was Christmas Day and there doesn't appear to be anything different, so any events are probably going to be small to notice and will probably need to be announced beforehand.

And that's assuming there even are any.
