Well, for all of the character-of-the-days, they've used all kinds of names so far in the anime (in the dub version anyway).

They've probably gone through just about every name in the book......


Of course, my name was used in Pokemon 3 The Movie, when Ash battled a trainer named Lisa.

And that's basically how I came up with the idea for my screen name on here.


But, has anyone else's name been used in an episode/special/movie?

In not, then do you think your name will be used sometime in the future, because of its popularity maybe?
 
My cousin brought this up a few years ago when he was into Pokémon. Mine is used all the time because of Officer Jenny. His was used twice because there were 2 different episodes with an Anthony in them.
 
My username has been used in the Anime. I came up with this name before they ever even mentioned it. :p

Also, I don't recall a "Jon" ever being used.

/me is reminded of another thread on another forum about one year back. My name is too Greek to be used in the anime at all.
 
As far as i know, i haven't heard of my name (Alex) being mentioned in the anime. Any luck with me? ^^
 
I don't think there is a Julian in the english dub, but I'm pretty sure there is in the German one, allthough I don't know for sure. There is at least one trainer in the video games who's name is Julian which might increase the chance that my name was also used for a random trainer in the anime.

Not only has it been used, he actually got a second appearance! He is the leader of The Invincible Pokémon Brothers and battles against Misty in Gotta Catch Ya Later and Cerulean Blues.

I don't think my name has been used yet.
 
A female variation of my name was used for one of the ladies with the Kleceon. The joys of the name Alex.
