Hi everyone, I just want to know if you've ever built your own deck. I want to know because, I'm having trouble building my own. I don't have a lot of cards yet, but I'm buying the packs so that I can get more. Anyways, I just want to know if you've ever built one and if you can help me. :002:

What types do you have the most of? And how many trainer cards?

One way to easen and quicken the process is buying a prebuilt deck, which is what I recently did since I got back into playing the TCG. I bought and Emboar Deck and managed to turn it into the Reshiram deck I wanted.

Well, here's what I do when I make a deck.

20 Pokemon.
10 Trainers.
30 Energies.

If you're new to deckbuilding, the best way is to start off is with a starter deck (they usually cost around $12), and then to switch out cards with things you think will better. I recommend trading out some energy for some cards that boost consistency (like pokemon collector, elms training method, and professor oak's new theory).

Well, here's what I do when I make a deck.

20 Pokemon.
10 Trainers.
30 Energies.

WAY to many energies. at MOST id say 18-20 energies. probably 20ish trainers and 20ish pokemon, though it also depends on the type of deck.
