Ahead of the upcoming Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global, Pokémon GO will be holding a new Into the Wild event next week from Monday, November 10th, at 10:00am, running through to Friday, November 14th, at 8:00pm local time. As with the Pokémon GO Wild Area: Global event, Into the Wild will feature a variety of Dark- and Fairy-type Pokémon. This event also features the Pokémon GO global debut of the Silver Bottle Cap for Hyper Training. A special GO Pass: Into the Wild will also be available over the entire event period.

GO Pass: Into the Wild
The GO Pass offers Trainers a limited-time progression track offering a variety of ranked rewards and bonuses over a set period. Trainers will be able to rank up and complete their GO Pass by earning GO Points. GO Points for GO Pass: Into the Wild can be earned between November 10th at 10:00am local time, and November 16th at 6:00pm local time. Towards the end of the pass period, on Saturday November 15th and Sunday November 16th, daily limits for how many GO Points can be earned will be removed, allowing Trainers an opportunity to catch up and claim all remaining rewards. All GO Pass rewards will expire on November 16th, at 11:59pm local time, and must be unlocked and claimed before this time.

Rewards for GO Pass: Into the Wild include an encounter with Cresselia, a GO Wild Area 2025 Tee (Purple) avatar item, Stardust, XP, Poké Balls, and Candy, amongst other items.

As Trainers reach major individual milestones, they will also be able to unlock a set of special bonuses that will last for the remainder of this Halloween event:
  • Tier 1 - Rank 15
    • 2× Incense Duration
  • Tier 2 - Rank 30
    • 5,000 additional XP from completed raids
    • 5,000 additional XP from completed Max Battles
  • Tier 3 - Rank 45:
    • +1 Candy and +1 Candy XL from raids
    • +1 Candy and +1 Candy XL from Max Battles
In addition to the free GO Pass, Trainers can also upgrade to a paid version, the GO Pass Deluxe. The deluxe version of the GO Pass: Into the Wild offers faster progression up the ranks, but unlike previous GO Pass does not offer any additional milestone bonuses. This GO Pass Deluxe does however grant additional rewards such as the new Silver Bottle Cap (see below), an encounter with Shadow Darkrai, a Grimmsnarl Hairstyle avatar item, and a selection of premium items including Incense, a Lucky Egg, an Incubator, and Candy XL, amongst other rewards. Additionally, all Trainers who upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe will receive 10 Max Revives, 10 Max Potions, five Premium Battle Passes, five Max Particle Packs, and a Max Mushroom.

Trainers can upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe at any time, regardless of how far they've progressed in the GO Pass, and will receive all additional rewards from all previous rank levels that have already been unlocked. GO Pass Deluxe can be purchased either in-app or via the Pokémon GO Web Store for US$14.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). Additionally, Trainers can purchase an upgrade to the GO Pass Deluxe + 10 Ranks to be boosted directly to Rank 11, at a cost of US$19.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in each local currency). This upgrade can also be purchased as part of an Ultra Box, which includes a bonus gift of 20 Max Revives, 20 Max Potions, five Premium Battle Passes, five Max Particle Packs, two Max Mushrooms, and three Elite Fast TMs. As with the regular GO Pass, GO Pass Deluxe rewards must be claimed prior to November 16th, at 11:59pm local time.

Silver Bottle Cap and Hyper Training
The new Silver Bottle Cap is a single use item that can be used to start Hyper Training with a single Pokémon that is a Good Buddy or Higher, allowing a single stat, either Attack, Defense, or HP, to be maxed out. Hyper Training a Pokémon involves completing a set of special tasks with the selected Pokémon, with the exact tasks depending on the stat being raised.
  • Attack: Battle alongside the Pokémon being Hyper Trained.
  • Defense: Strengthen your bond with the Buddy Pokémon being Hyper Trained by doing things such as playing together, exploring, and catching Pokémon.
  • HP: Keep the Pokémon being Hyper Trained as a Buddy Pokémon while you explore the world, doing things such as spinning PokéStops, earning Buddy Candy, or completing other adventures.
Once commenced, Trainers will have 365 days to complete Hyper Training tasks with their selected Pokémon. Trainers should note that Shadow Pokémon and Pokémon that already have maxed out stats are not eligible for Hyper Training, and that Pokémon that have undergone Hyper Training cannot be transferred to Pokémon HOME.
