This thread is not for discussion. There's a discussion thread for that.

This is strictly for posting (or reposting, with credit given where relevant) actual game information, game graphics and screenshots (and that sort of things), so that we have a central place to look up everything from gym leader levels and teams to what the new sprite looks like to VS pictures, instead of having to wade through the discussion thread for them.

Again, no discussion. If you want to discuss what's posted here, that's what the discussion thread is for. But if you have screenshots to post, or game information, or spoilers...this is the place for it.

Isn't Serebii...you know, another site entirely?

Strikes me people should be able to find this here, on Bulba (the forum for now, and the pedia once it's ready to make it into pedia)...

That information will get there, on Bulbapedia eventually, I don't see a need for a thread like this.

We have the discussion thread AND the newly established help thread. Making this thread..well moot.

I'm not so sure Guillaume's wrong in this case.

To wit, we have users who are obtaining screenshots and data and they're sharing it. Saying that serebii dot net is the place to get all your HGSS info seems...in bad form.

And if this thread isn't super-active...so what? It's there for our loyal guests to give us all the info they've obtained, or see what others have picked up on.

Also Archaic might just blow a fuse if you tell people on his forum to go to Serebii for their info.

A lot of fuses, quite possibly.

I wouldn't mention that one around him.

That's not really what I meant...

We have a thread for sprites.

People are posting screenshots in the discussion thread.

We have a help thread established.

Why have this thread when we could just as easily sticky the sprite thread and have them all in one area. Rather than one massive thread.

Precisely *because* the screenshots are getting lost in the discussion thread rather than being in some easy to find place. I've been trying to link friends to various screenshots to show them what the game will be like, and I sort of just gave up, because you have to wade your way through nearly fifty page of discussion to find them. That gets tiresome after a while (especially if the only text with the screenshot is "From Serebii, cool!")

Or we could turn the sprite thread into a general purpose "images no discussion" thread.

And this one for Stats and Facts (like, you know, Gym Leader teams and all) which should cut down on the amount of repetitive questions over in the Q&A thread.
