Anyone else excited? x3 I think I'm only excited cause I like HGSS so much. xD

Looking at the Japanese cards, I'm liking a lot of the artwork really. Also knowing Ampharos Prime/Great is in our first expansion is nice (even if it's not a spectacular card, I love the mareep line). I also like the basic card design really, it looks similar to the DPPt set up, but a bit shiny-er? I think that's the right word. Another card I'm happy to see back, though sad that he's a supporter now, is Bill. Gotta say that card brings back lots of memories.

So, other opinions? :3

HGSS will be a pro expansion.

Donphan Prime and Feraligatr Prime are broken cards. Double Colorless Energy is making its high-profile return to the game, and will be a key fixture in making decks such as Flygon and Garchomp C even better. Some great trainers, too.

This will not be a set to miss.

EDIT: Oh yeah. One more thing. Old Bill was arguably BCIF, new Bill blows. Supporter? Really? So we apparently need two cards that do the exact same thing (Other being Mom's Kindness).

I'll probably stick to most of my older cards for normal play at my local POP place, however it seems...broken. But then again, Platinum was extremely broken.

Can't wait.

I know that the set's focus was Pokemon appearing in HGSS, but I really kind of wish that Mantyke and Bonsly were included with their evolved forms, only because they've only had one English card each so far; I'm pretty sure that they're the ONLY Pokemon who can say that.

Other than that, I'm glad the Johto Pokemon are getting some cards again. A lot of them have had such a small number of cards overall and I like to see the TCG spread the love around. For example: Politoed. It's had... geez, FOUR English cards so far? Pitiful. Happy to see him again.

There's always this feeling of YuGiOh in the shadows, with the Legendary card class and the Rumble set being reminiscent of Exodia and Dungeon Dice Monsters respectively.

And yes, double colorless is going to be a big game breaker now that it's made its return into the modified format.

DCE, pokemon comminucator, the cards that's a flip a coin gust of wind, pokemon collectory, etc, are all FANTASTIC trainer cards. Not to mention some awesome new pokemon and spectacular artwork. I'm definitely getting a box of this set!

And that's why they invented rotations!

Personally, I'm looking to build three decks off of this set alone (okay, fine, two, but the third one is based off of my girlfriend's idea).

lol it's a fun comparison to make:

Legends= exodia/fusions
lost zone=removed from play
power spray= trap card
rumble= DDM

Not that I mind. But it is interesting!
