I was playing my DSi today, as I was at Staples with my Mom and sister to buy school supplies. I leave to store, and go outside. Suddenly, the DSi fizzes out and dies. It is on full charge. It is about, say, 85 degrees out. This has never happened before, I've had it for two years. What happened? Did the heat short it out?

It probably overheated. Does it still boot?

Yeah, it's fine now. Just asking, as I have a swim meet this weekend, and want to know if I'll be able to bring by DS. It turns on, but when it's outside, it fizzes out after about two minutes.

Oh. If it freezes outside, then something is wrong. Call Nintendo and get it replaced.

I have never seen a portable shut down due to heat, and at Kings Island yesterday, I saw someone playing a DSi. So it sounds like something on the inside is damaged.

Alright, thanks. I'll get it checked. :)

EDIT: Never mind, it's alright now. It only fizzes when the temp reaches over 90`, and it doesn't get that hot much up here.
