12/21/12 - the day the end of the world is rumored to happen. Well, something happened on that day, just not an end to the planet - the gates leading to Hell have been opened, and countless hordes of demons, monsters, and the like have escaped, bringing discord and distruction to our world.
Though, for some of them, it's really a ticket to peaceful times, as there is currently a civil war being waged between the devils of Hell, and no one wants to be in the sights of a devil. One side believes in peace and tranquility with the humans, while the other wants to either kill off or enslave the humans.
Where do you come in? Well, kid, this is also where we come in. We are the Devil Hunters Guild, hunters of the nightmares, and slayers of demonic forces. Our role is the same as the Men In Black, only we are regulating supernatural threats, instead of terrestial or extraterrestial threats. We face everything in our line of work - from the stuff of nightmares to mythological creatures. This is not a job for the weak-hearted or the cowardly. Where normality stops, we start. You are either a greenhorn or an experienced hunter. Whatever you have applied for, prepare to see blood.

Nickname: The Dark Knight; Desendent of Sparda

(Physical): Silver hair; Slightly pale; Sky blue eyes; 5'10; 140 lbs.; muscular, but not an body builder
(Clothing): Red two-tailed coat; a necklace with a verticle diamond-cut ruby wrought in silver and a metallic chain; tan leather handguards; heavy brown pants; a belt with built-in pistol holsters; heavy duty black boots; a shotgun holster strapped to his shoulder/back; a broadsword sheath strapped to his back.
Abilities: Reflexes beyond any animal; able to use short-distance teleportation and short bursts of speed while utilizing the Trickster Style; has acute accuracy; has limited but powerful healing that gets weaker the more it is used. Once used up, it needs 5 hours to recharge; very agile; strong enough to punch into stone; able to channel demonic energy into his weapons for extra effect; able to activate his devil side in a process known as the Devil Trigger, which has a reptilian look.
Weaponry:
Rebellion - A Devil Arm in the form of a broadsword. Hilt is in the form of a horned screaming skull, a rib cage, two "bones" sticking out from the cross guard, and the butt of the sword is open, spikes sticking out in 360 degrees.
Ebony and Ivory - Modified Heckler & Koch Mk. 23 pistols. They don't have the laser-sighting module, grip is styled for comfort, and the shell projection port is opposite sides of the barrels. Ebony has a spur hammer, while Ivory has a ring hammer. On the inside of the barrels, written in cursive writing is "Ebony and Ivory". Also present are muzzle brakes for recoil reduction, and rail systems on the underside of the barrels. On the right side of the grips are portraits of Victorian women; as befits their names, Ebony's is dark-haired, and Ivory's is fair-haired. Also, engraved into the left side of the grips is a dedication to Dante. It states:

Coyote-A: A shotgun that normally is used for hunting, but it has since modified for demonic combat. Instead of bullets, it fires buckshot, a hint at it's previous life. However, it's forceful enough to break though wood just as easily through flesh.
Personality: Loves annoying people and demons, and rubbing them the wrong way. He is fearless. He complains about some of the things that happen to him, usually the results of his actions. He is can be trusted to do the right thing, though it's not beneath him to make cynical remarks the entire time. He has little qualms about accepting demons that had a change of heart. He also has a good heart, taking some missions, solely for the good of them. However, this leaves him vulnerable to bills for damage caused by him.
He has a decent winning streak at gambling, a chronic heavy drinker (though with his line of work, honestly who can blame him?), and a fondness for strawberry sundaes and pizza, though he hates olives. Yet, somehow, he always gets them.

History: Dante was born on midnight, October 31st. Unknown to him at the time, he is a descendant to the best fighter in the demon world - the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda. While growing up, he always seemed to get into fights, but he showed superior skill to bat them aside. One day, when he was ten, his father Dante I and older bro Martin got killed protecting his mother Maria from Hell Lust demons. He lost his cool and killed the remaining demon with a punch though the heart, covering his mother with blood. After that, he met the Clean-Up crews of the Devil Hunter's Guild. He asked to join the guild under the condition that his mother is under protection. During one training session, without Coyote-A or Ebony and Ivory, he was stabbed in the gut with his sword Rebellion, which awaken his devil side and activated his Devil Trigger side on the first time.
He has mastered the 4 standard styles of the Guild training - Swordmaster, which about the mastery of different Devil Arms and maximization of their elemental power; Gunslinger, which uses different firearms and maximization of their technique; Royalguard, which emphasizes minimization and countering of enemy attacks; and Trickster, which utilizes quick dodges and maneuvers.
