Hellboy is great in the sheer amount of WTF you can get from it. This one time, Hellboy fought a witch whose main power was to kiss goats. And that one time when Hellboy fought Nazi gorillas and got a bomb from a dead alien. And that one time, in the Bride of Hell, when...aw, just read it and find out.

Funny, I was just looking up all things Mike Mignola the other day because of his role in Atlantis: The Lost Empire. I haven't seen the film in maybe a decade, but one thing I do know is that the animation style of that movie is fucking awesome. Reading into Mignola's work more, I obviously ran into Hellboy and it suddenly sounded pretty cool to me. I'll have to look around sometime.
