Well, it's been awhile, Bulbagarden. But I've decided to come back for more punishment.
Eh, I'm joshing about that last part. But in all seriousness, I've decided to come back to Bulbagarden. I now apologize for the sheer wordiness of my introduction.
Well, let's see. . . May as well introduce myself to all the new blood and re-acquaint myself with the veterans. I'm Treemo, previously known as Nejitard, Aki, Aki Farkas, Aki Ohtori, Aki-chan, and I AM NOT A TREE. I first joined this forum around 4-5 years ago on a total whim after a friend of mine, Crystal Glacia, introduced me to it. Really, it was my first experience in a truly open online forum. When I was active here, I mostly posted in the Fun and Games section and anything that would fall under "The World Beyond," however I did at least lurk in the Pokémon-related sections. As I am more of a fairweather fan of the series, I would rarely have something to contribute that hadn't already been said; I'm much more talkative when it comes to, say, politics or linguistics. On that note, I have purchased neither Black nor White yet, so I'm not really sure how much I can contribute in those areas.
Over the past couple years, I've been hanging around TvTropes and developing my own skills as a writer. While I do not plan on writing any Pokémon fiction any time soon, I plan to be as helpful as I can to writers seeking feedback over in the Writer's Workshop. If I feel confident enough, I may even share excerpts from my own original work-in-progress.
In addition, I've discovered a fondness for RPing, and have experience as a GM. I may poke around the RP section of the forums to see if anything tickles my fancy.
I tended to be a bit mouthy and spitfire with little restraint back in the old days, though I consider myself much more laid-back and amicable now. Admittedly, I was pretty much an idiotic, attention-whoring wannabe. I have since discovered that it's better just to chill the hell out. That being said, I hope you all can get along with this old-timer, and help her find her way around this place. 'Cause boy, has it changed!
