Hello, as you can tell by me posting on this forum I'm a fan of the pokemon franchise.
My first game was Pokemon Gold when I was 7 or so and i spent alot of hours playing it until i lost the cartridge :(. Also I can't remember what happened to my old Gameboy Color.
I stopped playing pokemon for a while until i picked up ruby and played with my freinds alot, and getting my first lvl 100- blazikin and possibly a groudon. I then either lost or sold that game along with my SP and GBA. It wasn't really until this last summer that i got myself a DS and started playing soul-silver.
My favorite pokemon include Ninetales/Vulpix, Pidgeot, Ampharos, Ho-Ho and Articuno.
Since I played pokemon off and on I am only familar with pokemon in blue, red, yellow, gold, silver, ruby, sapphire,LG,FR,HG and SS. Any of the new pokemon i just draw a blank when people take about battle strats and evolutions.
The games I currently own are Ruby(not my orignal copy :( ), Leaf Green, Soul Silver, Pearl, Diamond and White1.

Thanks all.

(Also I don't own a 3DS only a DS lite since I'm a bit cheap and I have WPA internet protection so I was disappointed that I couldn't use the Nintendo WiFi.)

Hi Nitroflame, welcome :)

I started with Silver myself and lost my original copy on a vacation :( so probably know how you feel. My first Game Boy color was also ruined by rain. Ive since bought at least one game from each generation of Pokemon and have a 3DS,so Im ready for X and Y. I dont really know about battle strategy either xD you're not alone.

I hope you'll have a great time here and if you'd like to discuss the games, feel free to visit the Pokemon Video Games section if you'd like :) Also make sure to read the forum rules before posting and if you need any help, feel free to ask me or any staff member. See you around.

Hey! Welcome to the Bulbagarden forums! I hope you have a fun time posting and if you ever want to chat, drop me a visitor message on my page. I'm sure if you stay for a while, you will become more familiar with the newer Pokemon.

Along with losing games, I used to have an amazing diamond game that I lost in the streets of New York City while going to see a musicale ;_; So I know how you feel.
