Luna Hunter had spent all morning getting ready for this day. She had just 16, and her father finally allowed her to start a Pokémon journey. She had just finished curling her jet black hair. Her bangs remained straight and barely covered her left green eye and right blue eye. She put her knee socks on, as well as her shoes. Her navy blue skirt and White tanktop fit her slim body perfectly. She put her Navy Blue bow in her hair, packed everything in her backpack and went downstairs.

"I'm ready, daddy!" Luna chirped happily. Her father looked at her with question.

"You're wearing that ?" Her father spoke with disapproval. Luna groaned and nodded.

"Yes, daddy," Luna answered simply and kissed him on the cheek before heading out the door. "Bye! Love you!"

"I love you too, princess," her father sighed. Suddenly, a small white and blue Vulpix raced out of the door, as to catch up with her owner. Luna stopped and let the Vulpix catch up before holding her in her arms.

"I'm excited for this journey, Winter," she said. Winter cooed happily and nodded.

Rex Ryker stood up from his crouching position on a ridge overlooking the small town of New Bark. "So this is where it all starts, huh?" Rex asked himself with a half-grin. His Elekid, Dynamo, stood behind him with a smirk. They were both inspecting the town from afar, simply enjoying the view of what would become the starting point of their journey. As the gorgeous sun rose up from the small channel of the town, he kicked back into a folding lawn chair that he had set up moments ago and watched the sunrise in awe. Dynamo, who happened to be yellow and black rather than yellow and black, mirrored Rex's movements, sitting down in a child's folding chair just beside Rex. Rex chuckled slightly before closing his eyes for a moment and basking in the sunlight.

After a few minutes had passed, Rex packed up his things and returned Dynamo to his pokeball. He left the folding chairs on the ridge, leaving them for whoever wished to use them next. He wouldn't be needing them anyway on his journey. Rex started briskly jogging down the side of the mountain ridge.

After about half an hour of travelling, Rex arrived in the town. He walked coolly through the town, looking for the pokecenter. Of course, since he was new to New Bark Town, he wasn't even sure if they did have a pokecenter. After looking around for a moment, he simply gave up and released Dynamo from his pokeball again.

"Dynamo knows what to do," Rex thought to himself. "Lead the way, buddy!" Rex smiled. Dynamo nodded and soon starting walking around the town, looking for the pokecenter.

Luna was walking throughout the small, quaint town of New Bark. Winter jumped out of her arms and began walking beside her. Suddenly, the kit began sniffing the air and taking off in the west-bound direction.

"Wait up!" Luna groaned as she began to chase her Vulpix.

Dynamo perked his head up after hearing the soft sound of patting paws. Dynamo's fist started sparking with electricity as he ran off to the source of the noise, growling lightly under his breath.

"Hold up!" Rex shouted to Dynamo as he started running off after him.

OOC: Dynamo's moves are Thunderpunch, Firepunch, Icepunch, and Magnet Rise.

Winter stopped when she saw an Elekid. Her tails began wagging as she sniffed the other Pokemon.

"Vul," she greeted in a non-threatening manner. Luna had caught up with her Vulpix and sighed.

"Winter, you shouldn't be runn-," she stopped speaking when she saw the boy and his Elekid, "I hope my Vulpix hasn't caused any trouble."

Once Dynamo realized that the Vulpix wasn't a real threat, he relaxed and allowed for the electricity around his hands to dissipate. He stepped back, but kept a stern 'harumph' face on.

"No, she didn't do anything, I don't think. Sorry about that, my Elekid is a little brutish sometimes. I doubt he would have done anything anyways," Rex said.

"It's fine," Luna sighed as she recalled her Vulpix, "I'm sorry about that."

"No harm's done, let's just move on," Rex nodded his head. He looked around for a moment before turning his focus back to Luna. "You know where the pokecenter is?" Rex asked.

"New Bark Town doesn't have one as far as I know," Luna spoke as she nervously tucked a lock of her midnight hair behind her ear.

"Huh?" Rex asked in disbelief. "What kind of town doesn't have a pokecenter?" he asked. He soon realized his ignorant demeanor and corrected himself. "Sorry. If you couldn't tell, I'm not from here. I don't mean to be rude or anything," he said sheepishly. "I'm Rex," he introduced himself with a friendly smile.

"It's fine," Luna replied nervously, "I'm Luna. I came here from Sinnoh."

"That makes two of us, strangers in a new land," Rex noted.

"So, uhhh, I guess I'll be leaving then?" Rex said to Luna. "Nice to meet you, I guess."

"Wait," Luna spoke up, "Do you know how to get to the next town?"

"I'm not quite sure, but I would think it's through that route," Rex suggested as he pointed to the clearing at the side of the town.

"Well, I probably need to start heading that way," Luna spoke.

"I probably should also," Rex nodded his head to Luna. "I don't mean to impose or anything, but would you maybe want to go through the route together?"

"Sure," Luna answered, "That seems like a good idea."

"Is there somebody we need to see before we head out? We had a professor in Hoenn that we would speak with before we started out journey," Rex asked to Luna.
