Greetings to all!

This is Vanyss speaking. That is obviously not my real name, its the name from a character in one of my stories. And ofcourse the name given to my ingame pokemon trainer. I come from the Netherlands and have been playing pokemon ever since Red and Blue came out. Well, thats not entirely true. It took me some time to gather the money for the games. Back in the day almost everyone i knew had his or her gameboy and atleast one copy of pokemon. Those were crazy days. Pokemon has been a major part of my childhood and actually stayed with me for most of the years.
I have played atleast one main game from each generation and play mainly for fun. I'm not even that good a battler to be honest. But as long as I can have a good time, I am more then satisfied.

I hope to find some nice discussions, trades and battles on this forum. An I am super exited for the upcoming 6th generation! I'm going to chose Chespin! Who is with me?
 
Hi Vanyss, welcome to BMGf. Im super excited for gen 6 as well, though I probably will choose Fennekin for my starter. Ive been playing for a long while, since G/S was out. I too play for fun, Im not much for battling. If you want to trade and battle, we have sections just for that, so feel free to check them out. Make sure to review the forum rules and the rules of the sections you post in as they often have their own specific ones as well. Having a good time playing is all that matters - I'm glad to hear you've enjoyed Pokemon for so long, makes me happy to hear. :3 Anyway, welcome to the forum, Vanyss! Chespin is adorable but I'm waiting until we can see the starter evolutions before I make my decision. Hope you have a great time and as Ninfia said, do check out our trade/battle sections anytime~

Thanks for the welcome. I'll be browsing the forums for the coming days and will sometimes randomly appear somewhere. I'll be sure to take a look at the battle forums!
