Hey guys! I'm new to these forums, but I have been on other Pokémon ones in the past. Bulbagarden drew me in because I practically lived off Bulbapedia for reference. My favorite Pokémon is Ivysaur, favorite generation is the third, and my favorite game is Pokémon XD. My username and title come from the fact that I like to keep my trainers' names in the games to a philosopher theme. I look forward to some good times here!

OMG I dunno what I'd do without Bulbapedia like I seriously can't play Pokemon without it anymore. My favorite game is Soul Silver, favorite Gen is Gen 2 and favorite Pokemon is Celebi. I also usually just use my real name for my trainer name :) Im super excited for Gen 6.

If you need any help with anything here, feel free to ask any questions you have and I'll try to help you any way I can. I hope you enjoy your stay here.^_^
 
I see you like Froakie as well. I've read the rules and everything, so I think I'm good to go, hopefully! I really can't wait for Gen VI; I hope that it will draw back some of the more nostalgia-blind fans. The series has really progressed.

Yeah Froakie is cool. My favorite's Fennekin though. Which one do you like of the starters?

Ivysaur has to be one of my favorite second stage pokemon out of all of the starters!
 
Seeing fans of Pokemon XD and/or Colosseum makes me want to play even more since I've yet to try those. D: Welcome to BMGf! Ivysaur's awesome so you're pretty much automatically a great member, haha. The third generation was really great as well; I spent over 200 hours on my Sapphire as a kid and loved every minute of it. Enjoy your stay on the forum and glad to see you've already gotten the rules down. :D
