Actually, from Kyoto, Japan~!

My name is Kaede. I'd like to introduce myself as a Grass Pokémon trainer~! My favourite Pokémon however, are Eevee and Leafeon. I also adore Bellossom and Roselia.

In real life, I am a student of the traditional Kyomai (Kyoto style Dance) dances.

So as you can see, in the Pokémon world, I would have been a dancer in the Ecruteak dance studio - if Leafeon had existed in Silver.

Hello~

P.S. Sorry I actually posted in other forums before posting in the Garden Grotto~ I'm not normally so rude ^_^;;;;

Wow, that's pretty cool! Welcome to bulbagarden! Hope you have a great time posting here! Technically if Leafeon existed at that time you would have had to travel to Sinnoh to evolve your Eevee anyways :p

(Don't worry about the posting in other forums first... I don't think we are that formal here)

Ah that's good to hear. Yeah. I'd have made a pilgrimage for it - if I had known about Leafeon.

I've been waiting for the Grass eevee since Green (not LG, Japanese Blue).

I'm sorry if I sound to be doubting you, but I've seen a lot of assholes claim to be from Japan just to appear cool and elite in front of the anime-loving crowd. You seem a bit more believable than others, though the fact that you can't seem to spell "Trainer Card" correctly in your sig, as well as putting a period before "desu", seems to raise further suspicions.

Thank you for spotting my typos! It is sometimes very embarassing. ^^"

Ah. I should mention that I moved to the States when I was 6 ^^"" My daddy's business makes us move a lot. My mom and I go everywhere with him. So I did elementary and most of high school in the states. I also studied in Europe. :)

Now I am staying with my fiancee in Australia. I maybe will come here for studies and live with him.

My spelling is bad in both Japanese and English. It is true my Japanese is not so good. I visit my granny in Kyoto she calls me gaijin. But Kyoto will always be my hometown and where I grew up so many childhood memories ^^ So I confess my Japanese is shameful for a Japan-born, pure Japanese person. But my excuse is that I haven't lived in Japan for more than ten years hee hee.

As for the desu, thats a bit of an inside joke. ^^

But don't worry about it ^^ It has happened to me on other forums before. I really should fix my signature ^^"" I hope that clears it up and we can be friends ^^

かまへん かまへん。

Edit: I fixed my signature trainer card typo hee hee ^^"

Welcome! It is fascinating to meet someone born in Kyoto here! For years it's been a dream of mine to visit that historic city; but as I don't speak Japanese, I fear it will forever remain a dream! I'm sure as the years go by the Ecruteak Dance Studio would welcome a trainer of the Grass-Type Eevee evo with open arms!

not precisely.

I'll take it that the "desu" thing's a joke, but you still can't seem to spell "trainer" right.

Anyway, I guess I can buy that story. Bit of a shame though... we got a genuine native from "The Magical Land of Animays" (XD) visiting this place, only to find out she's not exactly a seasoned native. Ah well... welcome all the same, and sorry if I made you feel uncomfortable back there ^^' (seriously, I've seen a lot of those people before, and I can't stand them). If you don't mind me asking, how was kindergarten like in Japan? You were able to attend there before moving, weren't you? I'm also curious to hear about anything else you experienced in your first few years and subsequent visits.

Hello, Silver Kaede!

And welcome to Bulbagarden! ^_^

I've always been interested in Japanese culture, and it's cool to see someone here who's originally from Japan (even though you live in the U.S. now, that's okay).

Ah~ I really cannot spell! ^^"
What a great start I have made on this forum ^^" Now you must think I'm very silly hee hee.

It's true that I'm not so familiar with home anymore. I am immersed in Japanese culture though. I learn traditional art from my mom. ^^" My granny says its a shame that someone so engrossed in the arts cannot speak great Japanese. I find it very embarassing for myself when I visit family and they look at me funny. ^^"

I did attend preschool in Japan though, like you said. I remember taking lots of days of though because I got sick when the season changed. ^^" Fall was always the worst, I think. I enjoyed the beginning of the year the best and by fall I really didn't enjoy it anymore. I remember a girl in my preschool who cried a lot and that we were in school for around 3 to 4 hours. It seemed like a long time though. I don't think we did very much studies in preschool. I didn't even graduate from preschool ^^" I withdrawed from preschool before 'graduation'.

As for visits I remember a lot of Kyoto and Nara. I have relatives in Nara. I also remember one trip to Yokohama we made, very soon my move to America.

I'm enjoying staying in Australia with my fiancee though. Gentaro-san says I get on his nerves now that I'm always around ^^"

I hope I'm not too much OT now ^^" If you want I can pm you, Yamato-san? Or you can email me. You seem like a fun person to chat with~!

Also, I hope you forgive me for asking, but are you Japanese yourself? If not where are you from? Your Japanese is very good. Better than mine!! ^^""

Edit : Also please tell me about your fic as well~! It sounds very interesting ^^

俺は日本人じゃない。ただ六年ぐらいで狙っているカリフォルニア人なんだよ。

I'm not Japanese. I'm just a Californian who's been learning it for about six years.

EDIT: Um... I'm unable to PM you. It says that you set it up so you don't receive messages.

Hola!

I've always wanted to meet a Japanese native . . it's a shame that you can't fluently speak the language, but hey! hahaha

I look forward to seeing your opinions on things about . . well, everything!

LOL, Ditto. I want to learn Japanese, but I'm already doing Spanish and French.
