I am Ross and I LOVE paleontology, (you know, study of dinosaurs and other fossils) which got me interested in poke'mon in the first place.
Yes, for the 141st time I have seen "Friends" but prefer "Seinfeld" and I am NOT named for the character Ross. (I was born in 1984) It's just a freaky twist of Fate. (Along with the trainer Ross in "Poke'mon Heroes" being in the same movie as a Kabutops and Aerodactyl!)
Kabutops is my favorite poke'mon. Yes, it was the first one I learned the name of.
No, although my earlier posts suggest otherwise, I don't hate Alakazam; I just think Kadabra looks, ahem, ''cooler''.
I don't play any of the games, though I watch the TV show and collect guides to playing them. I used to collect the cards, but stopped when E-Card Reading replaced Poke'dex entries.
I have a younger sister, who I often act out fanfics with; our current timeframe is the Kanto Battle Frontier + a poke'mon version of Get Fuzzy.
