So yeah, my name is Jet, I was really bored this summer and thought that I would join a Pokemon Community online. I have loved Pokemon since the first time I was introduced to it around 12 or 13 years ago. I have been part of other Pokemon forum communities before such as the Pokemon Crater around 5 or 6 years ago (up till it shut down
), the Pokedox Forums, and the PokeBoard forums. But since they have little no activity, I would get bored and leave. Today I decided I would try and join the Bulbagarden Forums seeing as it seems like a pretty lively community, and a strong one at that.
I discovered the Bulbagarden Forums through Bulbapedia, which I have been using as my Pokemon resource for as long as I can remember. It is definitely one of my favorite sites to refer to regarding Pokemon matters, and also provides fun reads and trivia, and quick updates to Pokemon related news. While I'm on the topic of things Pokemon, I'd like to share that I am really fond of Pokemon. I have played at least one game of each Generation, and still go through them every once in a while. I also battle competitively with a preference of playing Monotype, and/or, NU.
Although I don't catch up with the anime, another thing I like about Pokemon is the art. I have some experience with basic spriting with Pokemon such as Recolors, Disguises, and Fusions, while I also do Graphics with them such as signatures, and avatars. Maybe if people here are interested in those kinds of stuff I might start a shop. But I'd like to get to know the people around here first.
So... yeah, I'm a simple, fun-loving, guy (although with some wild tendencies), and I'd be glad to be part of the community. See you guys around. I hope I don't get lost, this is one big garden.
