I'm not the greatest at navigating these forums and hadn't realised there was a good spot to do introductions like this. Hey there! On these here boards I go by Leonora (name of a DnD character from a game I was in a couple years back, she's in my pfp haha).
I've been a pretty big Pokemon fan for most of my life. The series is quite dear to my heart, even if I would consider myself more on the casual end. The Gen V games are for sure my favourite titles, I played them almost religiously when I was younger. Although, I am fond of other games like HeartGold and Moon as well, even if it's been ages since I played either of them! Favourite Pokemon are hard to pick, especially since we're up in the 1000s of these guys by now, but I've a soft spot for Umbreon and the Oshawott line.
As for the anime, I watched a lot of DP and B&W in my younger years whenever it would pop up on cable TV. Now I've been enjoying keeping up with Horizons since it began to air in early 2023. It's a really pleasant weekly watch, and I found myself endeared to its characters. Liko and Dot especially feel really well done to me. It's also been quite a solitary experience since I don't usually engage with fandoms much, so I thought hopping on the forums here and discussing with other fans would be a fun change of pace for me. And in that respect, my experience here has been really positive so far! It's such a nice departure from the hustle and bustle of larger social media platforms and the people here are welcoming and passionate.
Outside of Pokemon, I'm very passionate about video games in general as an art form, and try to branch out and explore a lot of the medium. Besides that, I enjoy reading, writing, film and casual birdwatching!
