Now, I wish you to view my profile before you read this post. However, not all of you will, so I will be repeating what is in my profile. Fine, go ahead and try to sue me.
Hello. I am Averon Matthews. I am twenty-one years old, and was born in Alexandria, Virginia. I lived in Alexandria for a while, maybe ten years, but then, tragedy struck. Both of my parents were shot down in their house while I was at school. When I returned, nobody came to collect me, but there were some adoption papers on the table. I called the number on the piece of letterhead at least two or three sheets into the pile. I had been accepted for adoption by a local couple in Fairfax. I gladly accepted, and began to pack my bags to leave right after my parents funeral.
So, on June 6, 1996, I was brought to my new home. Little did I know that something exciting was going to happen. When I walked through the door, I was greeted my my new father, Jacob. I asked him where my new mother was, hoping that she hadn't been killed. As it turned out, she hadn't. She was pregnant with twins. Me and my dad hopped into his Camero and drove to the hospital. We came just in time to see them being born. The first one, named Jacob, came out crying and flailing like it was having a heart attack. The second baby came out around two minutes later, and it was silent. My mother and father decided who to name it after. Jacob had been named after my father. My mom and dad both agreed. It would be Averon.
Two days later, I was really introduced to the house. I moved into the attic, which was fine with me. It was actually very comfortable. I began to attend Oak View Elementary School, which ended the next year. Then, in my seventh-grade year, I moved to Robinson High School. Finally, after much work, I was accepted into Virginia Tech. It was a bad idea. You see, not long after I cam to Tech, Cho Sueng-Hui attacked. My professor blocked the door, and most of the students escaped, but I was still trapped in the room. Cho shot the professor, and shot some other kids, before looking right at me. Before I knew it, I had taken a bullet to the groin, and another two bullets to the shoulder. I was sent to the hospital, and will never return to a collage.
In the hospital, I made the decision of a lifetime. I would join the Marines. I knew that in the Middle East, innocent people were shot much more often, and I wanted to help put a stop to it. I enlisted, and began to train as a sniper in July, including my birthday, which was on July the Fourth. Later in September, I was sent to Baghdad, and stayed for about two weeks. My leg was taken off by an RPG, and I was sent home for a prosthetic treatment for my left leg. My girlfriend continued to stay in my house, which was a small apartment in Fairfax, near the Fair Oaks mall.
Now, here I am. I plan to attack the roleplay and fanfiction sections of these forums, and aim to become a moderator sooner or later. I sometimes listen to the Bulbacast, so I know who Archaic is, the same with people like Pie or Winter. I hope that I can become well-known here, and this is my first step towards that goal.
For those who are about to post, we salute you.
