Bonjour, I'm Drafu. I'm new here so I'm posting this thread. I'm 16, last high school year (over soon!), uh, I like cinema, history, video games, etc.
Let's talk Pokémon. I grew up when it was a big phenomenon. I first watched the anime when I was 5. I also had Pokémon Stadium 1 & 2 and my sister had Pokémon Yellow. At the age of 8, I bought (for $20), Pokémon Blue. I was so happy to have my own Pokémon game and I loved it. I didn't finish it though, I was stuck in that place in Cinnabar Island where the gym key is. Someone did it for me but I only got the last badge and stop playing. Whatever, I got Pokémon Silver maybe a year after and I finished it. I also remember going on the internet and reading all the news of the future Pokémon (Ruby) and even emulating the Japanese version. I got it soon after the release date, finished it, lost it. I didn't like it all that much, plus I was getting older. The new pokémon weren't that great and those pokémon contests were stupid. I don't know much about the newer ones.
But well, I love the 151 pokémons, some after, and I find these games really nostalgic. Two years ago I started Pokémon Blue again, completed it and started Pokémon Silver. I just started playing again. I'm also watching the anime (I'm around the 60th episode for now) and playing that TGC game boy game. I'll maybe get interested in Generation III and IV but for now I don't really care.
That's my (pokémon) life (boring). I speak French so I'm sorry if there are some mistakes. French Canada by the way.
