Hello, I'm the Awkward Aggron and since I'm a new member I thought I would introduce myself and how to I got into pokemon.
I first got started in pokemon a way long time ago. My friend's sister just got Crystal version and didn't want her Red, Blue, or Yellow, so me and my family bought them. I was so young at that time that all I did was go through the entire game with a Charizard not ever capturing any other pokemon.
Over time, me and my brother got the card game starter pack (which we still have) and got very into it. I didn't really get anymore games until I got Pearl for my birthday. Over the time span between Generation 2 and Generation 3, I new about them, but never got any of the games. I would check the strategy guides out at the library even though I didn't have the games.
So like I said, during my last b-day I got Pearl and have gotten back into pokemon since. I bough gold and silver from my next door neighbor and enjoyed playing those (Even though the battery in them that let you have a saved game was dead)((Meaning that even if you save, it wouldn't remember that you had a saved game))(((So I just let my Gameboy Advanced SP be plugged into the charger all the time)))
My brother also recently purchased Platinum at a Black Friday sale at gamestop so we're enjoying playing together.
All my pokemon knowledge starting to come back to me and I look forward to enjoying my stay at Bulbagarden.
