Hi!​


Who am I?​

Hey, my name is Yagura and you can call me Yaggy. It's not my real name though, it's based on the 4th Mizukage from Naruto. Actually some of you may know me (Yes I'm the Yagura from there). I'm a Moroccan guy and I'm 17 years old, I have a bunch of hobbies like chess, and playing Pokemon competitively (even though I took a break from competitive playing until the metagames in this new generation get stable). I also love music, I'm not a huge fan of some current singer but I just love some random songs from here and there, and my favorite song is Paint it Black of The Rolling Stones.


Yaggy and Pokémon:​

I knew that Pokémon exist thank to the anime that was aired where I live and since that day I became a HUGE Pokémon fan (Unlike most of the children I used to hate Ash's Pikachu). I had my first Pokemon game when I was 8, it was the legendary Pokemon Sapphire with a Gameboy Advance. I chose Mudkip because I found it cute and I didn't catch any other Pokemon until I got raped in a rival battle by that Grovyle. I got desperate and I stopped playing for months until a friend told me that I must have a variety of types to become a good player. That's what I did and I somehow became the champion. After I found Bulbapedia (Read below) I became a Pokemon veteran and got famous in the region for being a Pokemon expert, people started to give me their consoles and I raised Pokemon to them (Yes, I was a breeder and I still am).

Yaggy and Bulbapedia:​

Well, I found Bulbapedia in 2007 I believe, I was looking for stats (Yes I was playing Pokemon for 3 years without knowing they have stats and the numbers they get for Attack and the other stats are randomly chosen.) I found it a neat Pokemon encyclopedia that literally has everything I was looking for and since that day it became my first source for Pokemon data. But there was a thing that confused me, it was the name: Why Bulbapedia? Why not Pokepedia or something that's actually related to Pokemon so I went to Wikipedia and found that Bulba is actually a short of Bulbasaur, I used to be dumb a.a

Welcome, Yaggy :)

I liek mudkipz too lol I do like Mudkip but my favorite Gen 3 starter is Treecko. I actually have a hard time with the Gen 3 games haha, Ive only finished it once. I dont think Im finishing my latest playthrough :/

Well, I have some few questions (I can't VM yet):

1. Even though I posted in various threads my posts counter is blocked on 2.

2. Sometimes it says that my post needs to be improved by a mod, but sometimes not..?

Its cause sometimes posts show up moderated, just wait patiently and they should be approved, if it's taking a long time, you can message a mod of the section and ask them to approve your posts for you.
 
Well, the problem is I can't PM a mod/VM until I have 10 posts.. :<
