I haven't really played Pokémon since Pokémon Red on my Game Boy Color, but I bought X and Y and got a 3DS on Christmas.
I'm only a little bit past the 6th gym in Y and on route 2 in X.

I really like X/Y. The graphics are really nice, but the best parts are unlimited TM use and Super Training so I can EV train my team immediately and easily remove unwanted EVs
