I probably should've done this before posting elsewhere, oops!
I'm Vivianne (Vivi is fine) and I've been a Pokemon Fan, essentially all my life, it's likely the autism.
I accidentally stumbled across this year's (2025, though its almost over) Holiday Scavenger Hunt, and saw it through to the end on a whim, which required me to make an account. I thought it would be a smart idea to stick around, since my girlfriend wants me to start stepping out of my comfort zone, and I thought a forum would be a good way to do that socially.
I'd describe myself as "stubborn" and "very opinionated", though my girlfriend actively calls me things such as "Troublemaker", "Scoundrel", and "Goofball".
I've played almost every Main Series game multiple times over, I'm the type that likes to plan out what to use and capture Mons over and over till I get the right Ability and Workable Natures. I have a penchant for fangames, and on my YouTube (same username) though its mainly a clipdump, I have videos of me defeating fights without the use of healing items (though in 2026 I plan to replay a fangame and get every fight recorded this time). I also try to keep up to date with Competitive going-ons, though I don't participate myself, I just find it an extension of learning more about Pokemon, which, y'know the autism.
I also have a large collection of plushes, both just in general and of Pokemon. My favourite Pokemon, and first ever purchase I ever made online, is a Salamence plush I still have sitting at my monitor beside me right now. It sits in a pile of other miscellaneous dragon plushes, a Piranha Plant, Cerberus from Hades, and Izutsumi. I identify heavily with cats, more specifically catgirls, like Izutsumi (it's likely the autism), and dragons (also likely the autism).
Other things besides Pokemon I enjoy are: Undertale & Deltarune, The PS1 Spyro Games/Reignited Trilogy & the Skylanders franchise, the Mario series- especially the RPGs as I chose my name after a character from one (and Mario Kart DS & Wii), Platformers in general (please play Pseudoregalia), Roguelites, FPSes (my aim is garbage though), A Hat in Time, the Kirby franchise, Terraria Calamity Mod, Norse Mythology- especially Jormungandr, Dungeon Meshi (mainly Izutsumi), and I dabble in fighting games whenever my girlfriend wants to kick me around the block a few times. I have a BlueSky (same username) where I'm much more scattershot and less restrained, but it is +18 (and also a lot of RB'd photos of ferrets).
Hopefully I haven't missed anything or said anything out of line, but the forum has been a quaint little place so far, so, hello!
I am a long retired XIV player, but I still have some fond memories, though I don't talk about it much and try to avoid things that have happened post 7.1.
